Factory reset, reinstalled and configured everything, then same problem started again after maybe 4 days later. Called tech support who arrived couple days later and said it has happened to other customers (not sure if he meant same model only) and that the issue SEEMS to be SPOTIFY!

So he uninstalled spotify and took photos pre and post uninstallation, while explaining to me clearly and patiently that both xiaomi and spotify are aware of it and software updates are in the pipeline. He told me to monitor and even called me a few days later to follow up.

Its been 13 days with no issues.
Tv can install Spotify? How to install?

I bought a 55" for my dad 2 years back. Broke down recently (doesnt turn on properly, attempted factory reset based on their instructions didn't work). 3 years warranty so they come down, brought back, fixed it and sent back. Over service experience was responsive and good.

May be some apps keep plenty of cached videos. Can fill up easily even if you have big storage.

Go through the apps one by one. Disable those pre installed apps that you are not using.

Just experienced this on my Xiaomi TV. Even after deleting all self installed apps. Need to uninstall All System app updates before the update can proceed. Did not faced this issue on other non Xiaomi Tvs..
