YTD 2025 Networth tracking thread

Hi guys, just to share my networth. I invest mostly in properties and little in equities.

My networth in 2023 April is S$1.6 mil. I am 48 this year.
I count cpf plus the property I stay in which is our biggest investment.

My hubby's networth would be S$2.1 mil and he is 51 years old.
Congratulations! Are you mummy123? Doctor with landed property right? :)

Yeah, we sold our landed in 2018 sadly. For S$1.82 mil and now it is valued at S$3 mil.

Congrats on yr networth and salary increase. Did u buy a property in Sg?
ABSD just became 60% for me, lol. I look so stupid now, I could have bought at the bottom in 2009 when I came to SG, there was no ABSD and downpayment was 10%. Just unbelievable, how did things go this far?

Yeah, last few years landed went up by a lot. Now we want to buy also very difficult already.

Hubby keep grumbling why I forced him to sell last time.

We sold to a Filipino new citizen with his sporean wife and kids. Now he is selling after 4 years. Been in the market for S$ 3 mil for a while though.

Soon, freehold landed would be more and more sold to rich new citizens.

Yeah, freehold landed is a pot of gold in Sg. But I have a fear of flooding though. But Sg government is planning to build a wall around Sg I think to combat rising sea levels.

Yeah , we bought that terrace for S1.1 mil in 2010. Owner also made a profit. Made 1 mil from from our 2 properties so far and now staying in a 999 year 3 bedder (4 if u count the room we made in the balcony for our maid). This current property also went up by more than $S500k since we bought it in 2018.

Only our JB semiD didn't appreciate but at least it is rented out for rm 3100 a mth now.

3 M a bit hard to sell at macpherson garden estate.

Apr numbers in SGD terms:
YTD networth excluding new inflows = 5.61%
YTD networth including new inflows = 6.72%

Networth 1-Jan-2023 = 1.228 million SGD
Networth 30-Apr-2023 = 1.317 million SGD

Equity allocation 53%

In Apr, just continued my automatic DCA of 6k into equities.
How old are you this year?

With new OCR leasehold launches at more than S$2000 psf, mine bought at about S$1000psf 4 years ago and 999year condo has much room to appreciate.

Decided to write off RHT health Trust from my holdings, took a hit of 2660 SGD from my stock portfolio value.
Sigh.

I bought Meta shares last year when it first fell from nearly usd400 to usd 228 but didn't expect it to keep falling. Just held on to it and finally it recovered and reached usd 240 after laying off staff and reporting healthy earnings.
Only other shares I have is in my SRS, SIA and OCBC which are profitable and Golden Agr which is in the red but lucky only bought one lot.
