Cool, thx for e info. Possible to get it at e airport at christchurch?
I ask before and dun think they sell in CC airport. You can easily buy it from the supermarkets or any shopping mall. We bought from countdown supermarket and is you need to activate it according to instructions. Is very easy

I suggest you email or use skype to call the ski center and ask on the opening date.

Normally they are very responsive in emailing. They will reply you immediately on the next working day.

Just came back from my honeymoon at South Island two weeks ago. A two weeks driving holiday with itinenary as follow:

Christchurch
Kaikoura
Franz Josef
Fox Glacier
Wanaka
Te Anau
Milford Sound
Queenstown
Arrowtown
Cromwell
Mt Cook
Tekapo
Christchurch

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with a mix of relaxation and activities. Finally got the chance to do bungy jumping as well. The stargazing tour at Mt John is a must do. We managed to capture some shots of the Southern Lights and the constellations.

And yes, Teddy from Anzed Car Rentals is a nice guy. Would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

All in all we spent about NZ$7,400 for the trip. Worth every cent. Looking forward to our next trip to NZ. Hope it happens soon.

I'm heading to NZ next week as well. It's early winter I doubt the temperature would be extreme. What flight are you taking?
