How many days would u suggest for the route above?

my trips were all at least 2 weeks tho barely enough cuz i have hikes planned here and there

for families, anything between 1 to 2 weeks shld be ok...

Respect for u bro. I did Roy's peak for 1 time and legs go jelly for 1 week alr

ya nz south island i did 3 times liao

Did you do the great walks? I seldom see people discussing them in this thread. I thought the Routeburn Track was one of my favourite experiences in New Zealand. Didn't have enough days for the other multiple day hikes. Did do the Tongariro traverse as a day hike which is pretty awesome as well.

nope, didnt do any of those that need more than a day, maximum those 6-8hrs kind

havent tried tongariro, need a good reason to go cuz destinations in the north r too far apart not as concentrated as south

Haven't been doing much monitoring . So check with experienced folks here.. for a round trip Singapore to Queenstown and out from wellington to Singapore with transits at Australia cities in-between reasoanable for $780? All except one leg (3h flight to nz) by Sq

yes. direct flights to nz are usually 1k cheapest

Didn't stop by there cause my drive between te anau and milford sound was raining.

But seems like a pretty great place for a good day hike

Hi Everyone

would like to check if anyone here has done Shotover or Kawarau White river rafting before... can comment which is better?

will be traveling with my parents so not sure if Shotover would be too xiong for them... would appreciate anyone who have done Shotover to give some feedback...thanks.
