Oic, not every trip got free credits, so far I only received a few times 300 and every last day of the trip, I will check at the kiosk, normally have 150 credits and 100 F&B voucher.

There are 2 types of comp credits. One is send sms to notify you and you have to book to cruise to collect it.

The other is when you are onboard and have played and earn enough point to entitle to comp credit. Think was earn 15GP to get $50 e-Credit and next at 25GP so forth.

My representative ask me to earn 25TP to get $150 e-credit

There is a poster at the membership counter showing the Tier Point (TP) earned and Goodies to exchange.

Better still just ask membership staff to check for you or go to the membership kiosk swap the card end of each day to see your entitlement.

I ever experienced during the CNY period, the kiosk showed nothing redeemable and I went to the counter and check, they printed 300 e-credits, a $100 F&B voucher and 2 boxes of pineapple tarts. The staff also leaded me back to the kiosk and I was able to get a lucky spin and won additional 18 e-credits =:p
Sometimes, I think the kiosk cannot be trusted, better check with the counter staff. Nowadays the counter uses Q tickets, no need to stand and wait.

No matter how low palace buffet standard drop, I don’t think will drop below lido standard leh.

But these free foods every meals eat also will get sick, so usually eat lunch will go blue lagoon pay to jiak

The trouble with the Chinese restaurant food is they cook it in the afternoon and then they put it on multiple plates. So it is not freshly cook. At least in the blue lagoon it is cook to order like in a hawker centre.
Lido is mass cooking but at least they are freshly cook every so often.

I think grad is $26/day and not $21.
Don't think they provide free shuttle to HCMC.
Just imagine for Langkawi the shuttle is to the end of the pier to Genting Langkawi Resort.
If you take one of their tours you will get a $40 discount.

Found Shore Transfer Services available below which probably are what Palace Suite guests would get to go for complimentary transfer:

Nha Trang -
Nha Trang Centre Shopping Mall
- costs SGD26/pax.

Ho Chi Minh City - Bitexco Financial Tower
- costs SGD45/pax.

Full list of Shore Excursion for Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City can be found in PDF link below:

Should be their Systems cannot be trusted so better check and double check at membership counter and kiosk. Same like their Membership Online Booking System and even their Hotline.

Good work, lilycll. But you said ':should be complimentary for Palace'. So we don't know for sure, what with all the changes they are making.

In the casino business they have what is known as the Soft Comp and the Hard Comp. Soft Comp is hotel room/ship cabin which cost them nothing as it would otherwise be empty. Hard Comp is like Air ticket or contracted tours which they have to fork out their own money.

Let Kia report back on what is actually offered to him.

There are other non-Casino guests as well who paid to stay in Palace Suite entitled to this Palace Transfer Service priviledge. DC would have to charter the whole coach anyway to take care of them but the number of these paxs may not be enough to fill up the whole coach. The rest would go to these Comp Casino Suite Guests or DC will simply claim fully booked if exceed their budget.

I recalled hearing from someone who took the GD maiden voyage enroute to HK via Vietnam and they got this as Comp.

Anyway guess Kia will share after his cruise.

Anybody realized that Dream Cruise prices went up a lot recently?

Yes I was going to post the same thing.
I don't know what they are trying to do.
I have been on GD every 3-4 weeks but don't see myself going on their ship at these prices.

Anyone boarding this Friday? What time can we board ah .

Boarding starts from 4pm to 7.30pm:s22:

Due to is a PH if you go early there it will be quite a Jam as i think is a full cruise.

If you are not in a rush a good timing to board will be after 6pm or 6.30pm

This apply if you are booked on normal/balcony cabins.

Most likely i will board at 6.45pm on that day.

I have not seen any provider offering rental of a wifi device for cruise onboard. Even if there is any will be very costly due to most of these cruises are using expensive satellite communication while allow mobile line to piggy back. There are some who offer this rental but probably will be limited only when cruise ship is closer to shore or during in port (anchorage or docked).

It all depending on how much internet data usage you need. DC wifi fee starts from $19/day for Standard Usage or up to $39 if you need a full Premium speed internet connection. You can subscribe this onboard if you really need full time internet throughout the cruise duration.

If your intention is to have some simple google search and emails when at oversea Port short stay then you may want to consider those plan provided by our local telcos. SingTel has data roaming plan starting from $5 for single country Malaysia use or $12 for about 12 countries including Malaysia, Indonesia etc in case accidentally switched roam to another network. These are valid for 30 days good for cruises calling Bintan, Penang, Port Klang, and even Laem Chabang (Bangkok/Pattaya) etc.

I ever rented the mobile wifi on cruise to Penang. The wifi dongle only on land. If the cruise is near the land, there is still a chance that you can get the wifi. Not sure if there is any new package for cruise also other than the 1 provided by the cruise.
