Another good news ..

The sailing schedule for GD is out from the oven till apr2021

Those looking to celebrate 2021 New Year i think 27Dec 5N will be interesting..

I notice there is no Peak season pricing so Star Cruise is using their brains.. This will help to push some sales.

Hope members also will not have peak surcharges when it open..
They told me august sailing full last week, my mum friend said she sailing in early august also. not sure if they already cancelled.

Will we get issued with SHN after disembark?
Arenít they afraid of people catching the virus in Bintan and Malaysia?

Aug is cancelled unless miracle happen lol....

Sept actual sailings itinerary is all still subject to changes.. Still got around 2 months to go.

By that time or aug i think they will have a better picture of the situation for the border controls. If all immigration parties have a consensus for control and movement via the borders then SHN maybe will not be needed. If there is SHN then no point of opening for cruising.. Nobody will go if there is SHN imposed even for the die hard gamblers.. GD can do cruise to nowhere which is a good idea for a time being to test market.. Cruise to nowhere is like still within singapore as no outside interaction.. So even if there is a case is spread from singapore loh lol.... I wont pay $200 for a swab test just because of a cruise...

Having say all this.. I hope GD will still open from sept and do all the necessary safeguards.. I got a sept booking too from feb till now..postponed 3 times haha.. I am not worried or have stigma against cruising.. Just no SHN i am good already lol.. On the other hand i am looking forward to GD as the crowds will be lesser and no ah neh confirm haha.

Covid19 will stay for year 2020, and continue to roll to 2021. Even with vaccine, 2020 is not a year for traveling.

Yeah i am also hoping for a cruise to nowhere too. At least safer rather than passenger disembark and get infected somewhere. Donít know what the management is thinking. why they keep planning to Malaysia and Bintan.

Confirm Aug sailing dates cancelled... I still duno why rwas can say aug is full lol... The new call centre in malaysia is not that good..i still prefer their HK call centre.

Sept dates again is subject to MTI and MOH opening up for the cruise industry.. With growth plummeting nearly -50% for Q2. It will be a tough choice. SG is very very dependent on tourism and services/trade.. So wonder what will chan, gan and wong do going forward the next few months lol

10Aug SG-MY land borders will be open for controlled movement.. hundreds or thousand will cross the borders daily... Is that safer? i even think cruise is more safer if is cruise to nowhere..

Unfortunately RWAS still insist to stop at a port. Is it because they want to earn from holiday packages?
Yeah if they apply cruise to nowhere, probably MTI already allow them to start sailing.

The call center from malaysia? i thought singapore as a young girl called and she speak very fluent english, no chinese slang.

Port calls still hard to say as sept not yet come...If MY & TH dont allow ports then will be high seas which i have no issue lol

I think i heard CNA reporting said that Dream Cruise will do cruise to nowhere for all their sailings.

If so then opening in sept may have high chance. As mentioned before cruise to nowhere is the same as in singapore. There will be no outside contact at all. If there is cases is spread by local residents.

So if the above is correct then the only leisure you have now is to go cruising if you need a break.. There maybe a boom here if cruise is the only holiday you can get.

Likely, all Sept cruises will be Cruise To Nowhere.

I don't think SG government is in a hurry to start cruise trip because there are no tourists at this moment. Better to be safe than sorry. Many can't tahan RWAS members have started visiting RWS.

haha. itchy hands.

RWAS director interviewed on Channel 8 news about 1 to 2 months ago, claiming they will start cruise to nowhere previously. Just wondering why the booking is still having Malaysia and Bintan. Whatís wrong with the management? double standard.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced on Thursday it has extended its no sail order for cruise ships through September 30, 2020.
I think Singapore will extend beyond September too.
