Any idea where and when do we need to pay for the swab test?
The test will be done on day of embarkation at MBCC at staggered timings as they will advise your test timings.. All go same time wait messy.. once cleared & tested negative then you can board the ship..

The covid test is $60 per person will be included in your cabin charges..

Swab test? u self test lol...

Yes the nose swab can be quite uncomfortable mostly ladies dont like it.. I hope they have mouth or saliva swab options..

High risk groups like those above 65 or with medical conditions should think twice to go or cruise later..

QOTS selling like hotcakes for dec

I have some colleagues and frds going qots.. But all of them got family n kids/toddlers and even their maids lol..

For family vacation i told my colleague go for qots more fun for the kids.....somemore 3kids. I wonder do they still have the dreamworks parade for this cruise..

For smokers pls do note that qots do not permit smoking at the balcony for stateroom ( cleaning fee USD250).. WD can smoke at the balcony..

rwas casino is all smoke free since beginning of the year.. casino royale got smoking & smoke free section..

I am not sure about current situation as it may change..this is based on before covid lol

There is still a grey area that is not addressed by all the stakeholders

What if you contracted covid19 after you return from the cruise example on the 10thday after you return...

RCL & DC policy do not cover this.. Both cruise company only cover you if you are on board.

No Travel insurance can cover this.

MOH consider you have travel out of Singapore.

I have ask STB for a clearer picture on this scenario..

I have asked STB on this scenario too, also on the question if testing will be required for everyone, including those below 13.

The post cruise question is more serious... Hope the stakeholders can address this clearly...

Yes they consider you go out...

MOH also confirm this is a grey area..But all the stake holders should come out with a plan and clarity on the entire cruise process. Is not MOH issue alone.

More info about the opening of cruise.. It will apply for both DC & RCL..

I am positive about cruising but i also feel the stakeholders has not provided a comprehensive plan about the entire process. There are gaps and things change again today. How to cruise with confidence?

We wish to provide an update pertaining on your previous Item #3; about COVID-19 test upon disembarkation. As per latest requirement received from SG authorities, all disembarking guests will now be required to undergo COVID-19 test at the cruise terminal with no additional cost to the guest. After conducting the test upon disembarkation, guests are not required to wait at the terminal for the test results and may proceed to return home.

We would like to take this opportunity as well to set expectations because some of the information may still change as we are continuously working with MOH/SG Authorities in getting the latest development. We highly suggest for you to also check our website from time to time at www.dreamcruiseline.com for the latest updates about the safety measures and procedures pertaining to COVID-19.

With regard to your latest queries, we regret that we do not provide insurance coverage, however if guests undergo assessment for treatment onboard the ship for COVID related symptoms including taking the COVID-19 PCR test, regardless of whether the result is positive or negative, the medical fees will be covered by us.

Think they need a cut off line to determine whether anyone has contacted Covid onboard by enforcing the covid test upon disembarking
