There are employ to work and not to enjoy like a guest

The older SDA like to chat with crew and guests. The younger 1s like to group.

what standard are this lol....

I have no issue about SDA is just that they are not pro at all. Nearly 90% of all guests are family in the same cabin. Can know how irritating if they come and split you and your wife or kids etc.
Lol, when my wife play ETF, I come to her machine and play with her, SDA told me cannot. It is not that I play with her for 5minutes or more, just for a short 1min also cannot.

I have not encountered a rude SDA on board. They are well-trained and courteous, and I donít see any problems at all.
The first cruise on 6 Nov was indeed chaotic, but my second cruise on 20 Nov was well arranged. I arrived at MBCSS at 1 PM, and by 2:30 PM, I was already in the cabin. The swab test is no longer a big deal because I can hardly feel it, I even wonder whether the medical staff inserted the cotton stick into my nose? or perhaps my nose became deeper after the first digging?
My disappointment on 20 Nov cruise was unable to dine at Hot Pot and Uni Uma restaurants, which were fully booked on Fri and Sat, it was quite unbelievable when the butler told me they were full. My only choice was the western restaurant that I have never tried, and it turned out that the seafood platter was great! =

After work is up to them they can do what they want.

Is you wear the SDA Polo and you must work correctly. Eyes are watching them also in how they perform their job.

I dont think they can enjoy the facilities? Cos need booking even for pool and DC can know. They wont go spa too or gym lol so what can they enjoy? Casino? they earn 100 per day also cannot cover like that.. Maybe they can play the chess or basketball lol
Can ah.

A bro here posted the recruitment ad here before.

I'm pretty sure they have clear instructions to change out of uniform if they are not on duty and want to enjoy the facilities like a paying guest.

Yes they can enjoy what the cruise has to offer if is after duty and permitted..

Things that need money is not exactly cheap onboard .. the only cheaper things on board is cigs and beer(promo) and some duty free stuffs compare to land.. 1 plate of CKT at blue lagoon is SGD15 and on top there is 18% for all items

Hope they dont earn and give back to DC hahahaa..

The numbers will be getting more as now is school holidays and DC is aggressively pushing sales via public promos & members free cabins.

I called and enquiry for 27nov and was told it was fully booked. But the online booking still got available cabin. Strange that they don't manage this better, the past few weeks we have seen the numbers is hovering around 1000-1200 for weekend cruise. It is still 20-30% below the maximum capacity.

The allotment is not based on public commercial website.

Public, free, PP and rolling should have their individual allotment cabin quota.

Likewise for 25Dec is full for members but public still have.

Paying guests & Rolling program i guess should have the most priority + allotment

If you were trying to redeem comp cabin using your comp or PP, you need to check on the membership portal. It happened before that the portal might show available but after you proceeded few steps further to try to book, it ended up failed booking.

They have different cabin quotas/allocation for different groups like the public (via their website or Travel agent) or members. If you can find available cabin in their public website doesn't mean the cabin will be available to member. However you might want to check again another day as they may release to different group from time to time.

Yeah, understand the allotment thingy. What I meant is if there are still 200-300 cabins empty, they should managed it better. It is just a waste that they left it empty. The management should think on how to maximising the profit. After all, we still pay the port charges and gratuity.

Yes they still do that.. You can ask them to see if can waitlist.. Or sometimes last min they will release some cabins.

The previous team in HK is much better. Now the membership call center is SG/MY and they are not so helpful.

I did not know that they call center is in SG/MY now. I agree the HK call center last time is friendlier and you can be on wait list.

The current call center give u a straight NO answer. They are not going the extra mile to service the customer.

25/11 Wed cruise info.
Casino at L6 no crowd. Jackpots machines and ETG less than 3/4 occupied even in peak hours.Baccarat mostly $100 tables, one $50 table(open card). The rest like pontoon, 4 cards, etc are $50. Casino war $25. Big small down to $20 from Fridays $50.
Overall I rate the food in L7 & L8 better that GD.
I arrived for swab test at 5.20 pm. Only saw 5 - 6 pax throughout the 20 mins. Was told they were waiting for some late comers, so I guess it is ok to arrive for swab test at later time.
Goodluck ! Onboard again 😀
✌️✌️
