Nice to know that.
There are some staircases to climb to get scenic views. Just seeing from the ground means you are standing outslde the temple complex and not going inside. Going in means have to climb the stairs. Some are just a few steps, some are more.

Your guesthouse should be able to introduce one. You can flag one and ask as well.

It depends on how much depth you want to put into your tour. 3 days give you the opportunity to go to the further sites like the Roluos group and Banteay Srei at a leisurely pace.

Unless you have a super strong interest in temples, 2 days is enough. First day, see Angkor Wat and main temples and sunset. 2nd day see Sunrise and secondary temples and sunset.

No longer need to pay when departing.

I'm not a temple person. one day in Angkor Wat is already too much for me. But if u really like temples, history and photography.. then get the 3 day pass and decide on day 4 whether u still want to go on the day 5. Anyways, 3 day pass is cheaper than 2 single day passes.

Some personal opinions on your itinerary, day 6 - central market closes about 4-5ish. If you take the morning bus, it might be a little rush unless your hostel is nearby. Can consider checking out jet's container market,a pretty new and hip place which opens at night instead.

Day 8 also like kinda rush.. why not shift the Cambodia national museum to day 7 when you are in the area. Can do central market on day 7 also.

From your itinerary, and assuming you stay in a cheap hostel, eat cheaply, I think you might need to prepare at least 400 usd not considering your shopping. It will help reduce the cost if you are sharing a hostel room and have 4 pax to share transport.

Phnom Penh + Siem Reap

Phnom Penh + Siem Reap 5D4N is sufficient I suppose?

Open jaw, land PNH morning of first day and depart REP in the afternoon of 5th day

Should I fly into REP on day 2 or 3? If one day in PNH is enough, I will take evening or late afternoon domestic flight from PNH to REP on day 2.

If you intending to go to their palace, museum etc in Phonm Penh, then one day shouldnt be enough ...

Please bring USD, as most of the people there would be using usd ...
bring more cash ...
one way tuk tuk ride 10minute, should be about 3usd ...
booked a driver, using highlander car (can put in more luggages) from airport to town area in phnom penh is about 12usd

Phnom Penh largest mall is the Aeon Mall (things more expensive than in Singapore generally). There is one more shopping mall, should be under renovations.
