Sihanoukville beach. Up north and north east, one can do a loop round Kampong Cham, Stung Treng, Banlung, Sen Monorom.

Angkor Air is a decent airline, I took it a few years ago. It really helps cut down the travel time between PP and Siam Reap.
If you hire a private driver, which you can arrange beforehand, you can do PP in one day (start from early morning), then fly to Siam Reap in the late afternoon.

Kampot is a few hours away from PP by mini bus ride: it's a nice, laidback river town (pretty salt mines). But if you want excitement or things to do at night, then probably not suitable.

Hi all I need some suggestions, I’m staying 3 nights in Phnom Penh, realistically how much usd should I bring along?

To Visit the killing fields I should book a day tour from the hotel or flag a cab and book him for 4 hours?

I’ve booked for 3 nights at the pavilion should I adjust and stay 1 night at Nagaworld just for the sake of it? I dun gamble

Battambang looks so close but also take 3 hours. Which would you recommend?

1) USD40/day definitely sufficient for your expenses excluding hotel
2) Book a day tour if you want to bring costs down, as you will join a group. See if you can combine Killing Fields with another attraction, as it is quite far out of town.
3) The Pavilion and Nagaworld are different kinds of hotel. Consider the Raffles vs MBS. One is landed property, the other is high-rise. Really up to you. They are only 15min walk apart.

Best to book your own driver from airport to hotel , can also half day tour
the driver would pick you to the places u like ...

do rmb to ask the person if they are driving, or using tuk tuk to fetch u ...
if is by car, is using sedan or lexus or highlander ...

Things in PP not cheap ...
one way tuk tuk is about 3usd, about 10min distance ...
there is only one big mall in aeon (the other one should be renovating still)
things there seems to be on a higher side, similiar to singapore pricing ...

Just came back from Cambodia. Just use grab or passapp for tuktuks, no need to waste time haggling and they most likely overcharge. Best pay by card or you will get those small riel notes.

If go attraction far away, can negotiate for them to stay with u and pay thru app request or not.

Without promo passapp is cheaper. Battambang has no grab also.
