Does anyone has local driver contacts in PP? Thinking of engaging one for one or two days to travel around.

I just went to PP. it’s much better to use Grab taxi app - it is very convenient, cheap and I never waited more than 5 minutes for a car.

It won’t be cheap... pp is relatively a small place. Is better you take tuktuk unless you no idea where to go

Be wary of taking tuk tuks off the streets in PP. Like many tourist cities, the drivers have zero knowledge of the city and just see the job as an easy way to rip off tourists. They will tell you they know your destination even when they actually don't (even with a map). Or they will pretend they don't and have difficulty finding the place. Their aim is to circle around and keep you as long as possible, then try to force for a higher price than what was originally agreed, for their time.

Don't need rent driver unless you're in a godforsaken place like Battambang

Sent from Samsung SM-G950F using GAGT

Same tricks like in Vietnam.

Best to book your own drivers ...
Some drivers use tuk tuk for day tour and send you to airport ...
Price difference might be just few bucks, compared to using lexus or highlander car, for airport transfers ...
