IZ*ONE’s Miyawaki Sakura Temporarily Leaves DJ Role At Japanese Radio Show

On November 28, Japanese media reported that the IZ*ONE member will be stepping down from her radio show, “Under the Tree with Sakura.” AKB48 member Yokoyama Yui will be filling in for Miyawaki Sakura in the meantime. Of the change in DJs, Yokoyama Yui said, “[Sakura] asked me to tell you all not to be sad. I’m certain Sakura will be able to return to the show shortly. In the meantime, AKB48 members will rotate as DJs for the show. I believe that IZ*ONE will be able to return.”

The departure is one of many events that the IZ*ONE members have had to put aside after the controversy surrounding Mnet’s “Produce 48.” Since the controversy, all of the group’s Japanese promotions have been halted, and the release of their first full album has been postponed indefinitely.

IZ*ONE’s Japanese Events Postponed Amid “Produce 101” Manipulation Controversy

On November 27, a source from Mnet told news outlet Sports Chosun, “As the Japanese release of IZ*ONE’s full album [‘BLOOM*IZ’] has been postponed, the Hi Touch events have also been postponed.”

IZ*ONE’s Japanese website announced, “The special benefit events, which were scheduled for December 6 to 8 and were to celebrate the release of their third Japanese single, have been postponed after discussion. We apologize for causing concern and inconvenience.”

The comeback celebration events were scheduled to include Hi Touch events (where fans get the opportunity to high five idols), and they were planned for venues in Tokyo and Osaka. The events have now been postponed indefinitely and refunds will be processed. A source from IZ*ONE’s side has stated they will make an announcement about the group’s future plans later on.

IZ*ONE’s Honda Hitomi To Take Hiatus From Japanese Radio Show

On November 28, the official website for “Honda Hitomi’s World Get You” announced that the show will be going on a break. “If Hitomi becomes able to return, the show will resume,” the website states.

This follows the news that her fellow IZ*ONE member Miyawaki Sakura has stepped down temporarily from her own DJ role in Japan.

[BREAKING] Final members of X1, IZ*ONE & 1 Wanna One member reportedly set before 'Produce' viewers voted

The final members of X1 and IZ*ONE as well as one member of Wanna One were reportedly set before viewers even cast their votes on 'Produce x 101', 'Produce 48', and 'Produce 101' season 2, respectively.

As previously reported, producer Ahn Joon Young confessed to manipulating votes for 'Produce 48' and 'Produce X 101' and for partially manipulating votes for the first two seasons of 'Produce 101'. However, the extent of the vote-rigging that occurred was unclear until now.

According to reports on December 5, assemblyman Ha Tae Kyung of the Bareunmirae Party received an official written arraignment to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office that detailed 'Produce' producers Ahn Joon Young and Kim Yong Bum had decided on the final members of project groups even before viewers made their votes for the competitors of their choice on the 'Produce' series.

The written arraignment states that producers Ahn, Kim, and one undisclosed person held a meeting at the CJ ENM headquarters on July 17, 2018 and came up with the top 11 trainees who would debut as X1 after 'Produce x 101'. They're accused of manipulating online votes for the show this past May and replacing viewer voted trainees for trainees on their pre-fabricated list.

The IZ*ONE members were also decided upon before 'Produce 48' viewers voted. Ahn, Kim, and one other person are reported to have decided on the 12 members in August of 2018 before the live votes from viewers came in. Just as with 'Produce x 101', the 'Produce 48' ranking of the top 12 was decided before the final episode.

As for the one Wanna One member who debuted, producer Ahn Joon Young is said to have switched the ranking of 2 trainees before the final episode of 'Produce 101' season 2 in June of 2017. This means one trainee who should have debuted with Wanna One did not make the top 11. The producer is reportedly switched member rankings for the top 60 preliminary round in May of the same year.

The first season of 'Produce 101', which debuted the project girl group IOI, suffered manipulation as well. Producer Ahn Joon Young reportedly dropped 2 trainees, who deserved to move on, and replaced them with 2 others for the first round of voting in February of 2016.

Police investigations further uncovered producer Ahn Joon Young had worked with 4 entertainment labels to edit favorably for certain trainees on 'Produce 48' and 'Produce x 101'. He also received over 46 million Won ($38,653.35 USD) in services from adult entertainment businesses paid for by labels.

Reports say CJ ENM made 124,465,000 Won ($104,588 USD) in profits from text message votes for 'Produce 48' and 'Produce x 101'.

Stay tuned for updates.

getting worse

According to reports on December 6, media outlets have pinpointed out 3 out of 4 entertainment agencies which provided bribes to Mnet's Ahn Joon Young PD for unfair gains through the 'Produce' series.

Among the 8 individuals who were recently booked by police and forwarded to prosecution for their involvement in broadcast manipulations, 3 of them included Mnet employees including Ahn Joon Young PD, Kim Yong Bum CP, and another Lee PD. The other 5 individuals were recognized as insiders from entertainment companies.

As previously reported, Starship Entertainment's president Kim and vice president Kim were among the 5, as well as an employee Lee under Woollim Entertainment. It's now been revealed that another individual Ryu was an employee under 8D Creative.

The above individuals are currently facing charges for providing adult entertainment services ranging from 10~50 million KRW as a form of bribery to Ahn Joon Young PD. The three entertainment companies named have yet to give detailed statements regarding the latest reports.

come out such statement after that bombshell not gonna hlp much :s22::s22:
8D Creative releases statement claiming that IZ*ONE member Kang Hye Won has nothing to do with former employee booked for bribery

On December 6,*media outlets called outentertainment agencies*Starship Entertainment,*Woollim Entertainment, and*8D Creative*as the labels responsible for offering*Mnet's*Ahn Joon Young*PD bribes, in return for manipulation of trainees' votes on the 'Produce' series.*
Immediately afterward, a representative from 8D*Creative stepped up with a firm response of denial, stating,*"The former employee 'Ryu' mentioned in previous media reports did work under our company briefly, but he left as of last year. Afterward, 'Ryu' sent trainees from his current agency on 'Produce X 101'. The issues currently causing concerns are surrounding that process, and they have nothing to do with 8D*Creative."*
In earlier reports, it was revealed that a former employee of 8D*Creative 'Ryu' was one of the individuals booked by police and forwarded to prosecution for charges of bribing Ahn Joon Young PD. However, according to 8D*Creative, 'Ryu' did not partake in illegal bribes while in 8D Creative, and drew a firm line against ongoing suspicions that*IZ*ONE*member*Kang Hye Won*earned a spot in the final group due to manipulations
