“Running Man” Hilariously Parodies “Along With The Gods” In Upcoming Episode

b6e57b44b1004f9d9d87e969a60dea4d.jpeg
“Running Man” will be parodying the hit film series “Along with the Gods” in their upcoming episode, with their race “Along with the Birthdays.”

In both “Along with the Gods” films, three grim reapers guide a deceased soul through the underworld, where the soul undergoes seven trials to determine if they deserve punishment or reincarnation.

“Along with the Birthdays” will center around the three cast members who were born in August, Yoo Jae Suk, HaHa, and Song Ji Hyo. The three act as the deceased souls, while Lee Kwang Soo, Jun So Min, and Yang Se Chan play the role of the messengers who guide them through their trials, otherwise known as the grim reapers. Ji Suk Jin and Kim Jong Kook take on the parts of the judges who determine if they have committed crimes or sins.

The production staff hinted at Ji Suk Jin and Kim Jong Kook’s hilarious revelations and truths, saying, “Kim Jong Kook in particular was very confident in teasing Yoo Jae Suk, with his interrogation full of surprises.”

Other guests will add even more hilarity to the themed race. No Sa Yeon will make a special appearance as Queen Yeomra, parodying Lee Jung Jae‘s King Yeomra, ruler of the underworld. Lee Sang Yeob‘s surprise appearance as a witness in “Betrayal Hell” is also expected to add even more fun to the episode.

In the released photos, the cast members as well as the special guests are dressed in costumes befitting their roles. Each and every one of them is seriously and hilariously immersed into their role, while HaHa, Song Ji Hyo, and Yoo Jae Suk are dressed in normal clothing, but appear quite shocked.

twice-black-pink.jpg
Stylist Choi Kyung Won is under fire for her controversial comments.

Choi Kyung Won's recent interview with 'Women's Wear Daily' has spread to various online communities and became controversial.

In the interview, the stylist described her experience working with Black Pink, and said, "YG wants Black Pink to be different from other groups. I'm receiving the utmost support."

Choi Kyung Won added that Black Pink is indeed different from other groups. She compared them to TWICE, and said, "For example, TWICE wear unified cute, feminine outfits but Black Pink display their own unique style."

She continued, "People who only follow the trend loves TWICE," and said, "TWICE is for the ordinary public (normie) while Black Pink is the group for the people who understand style."

Her comparison of the two groups has become an issue. Netizens are criticizing Choi Kyung Won, commenting, "Is she crazy? Why is she bashing another group? I'm not a fan of either of the groups but she must have an inferiority complex against TWICE or something", "She's not even the main stylist for Black Pink. Why is she pretending like she's all that? She needs to stop bragging and bashing another group", "She needs to apologize", "That was rude. The comparison was unnecessary."
