Notice that my iPhone battery drains significantly if I turn on Bluetooth all the time. Can the tracker store the metric data in itself locally and then transmit it to the phone when Bluetooth connectivity is available? If so, then there is no need to turn on Bluetooth until I need the data to sync over to my phone.

i think there is option to make it auto sync or manual in the fitbit app setting.
