Hi Friends

Thanks for your reply, and you are correct!

Pic 1 - DSLR Canon 60D with Tamron 24-70mm F2.8 VC lens

Pic 2 - Nokia 1020 Raw format

It is not really a "fair comparison" - per se
diff angles ... diff focal length, etc ...
but to the general public , the colours produced by Nokia 1020 is really "impressive" , clear and sharp ... etc

and when i tell them, this is taken from my HP, all dun believe !!!!

i really love my 1020 ! :D

cheers!

seeing this thread makes me love my 1020 more. Been wanting to switch to 1520 cos of the bigger screen and much better batt life.

Also using Z1, but the camera is really disappointing! To think that it got the best smartphone camera by Digital Life.

If the camera is the primary reason why you got a 1020, don't. The 1520's camera is decent but it's nowhere near the crazy imba 41MP camera on the 1020.

Nice! Really bumping up the saturation huh? ;)

Hi Bro,

Not really, actually i didnt turn saturation all all....not sure if u can see from EXIF...
i did push up on "Clarity & Contrast" +20 in Lightroom (photoshop)
and other random parameters..

I really love the RAW feature in 1020, you really can push the limits /
ie turn into B/W, or try to salavage some bad lightings, etc

cheers

Nope didn't look at the EXIF, trying to guess. ;)

I don't use Lightroom anymore but I know the effect. Looks nice & punchy without losing dynamic range! Whole point of using RAW really. NICE!!!

Just wondering if anyone has tried mounting a telephoto lens onto the 1020. Managed to find some compatible closeup filters and ND filters but no telephoto. Thanks in advance!

are you saying the camera of the 1020 is far better than the 1520
