Only thing is whether will there be any hardware changes. Ie China k20 pro can it be flash to global rom of F2 pro?

Also since it’s F2 global version does it have all the necessary bands to work eg in USA?

Xiaomi with its confusing model naming..

aiya scroll up abit, I got say already. hardware wise global and china set are identical, maybe only add a few more europe lte band for global. in usa u need to check which carrier compatible yourself, since the carriers and individual phones all support different bands.

if buy china set, next time can flash to global rom without any issues/bricking?? too long never follow xiaomi phones, last time can do it easily and no issues.
yup, but die die need unlock bootloader first, if not will hard brick if u just headcare flash global onto china set with locked bl. apart from that cellular support in sg same as china, so can use 4g as per normal, only if u go usa then got problem.
Xiaomi phone cannot use in US??
ya cos most xiaomi phones don't have the full range of support for us lte bands, so doesn't matter if it's china set or global set, u go there with xiaomi phone high chance u get very spotty 4g coverage, if at all.

Price still seems on a slightly higher side compared to china price. Probably wait awhile first.

ZenFone 6 is my best candidate for my next phone due to all the old school features it offers. If Asus SG don't want to bring it in then my next candidate will be K20 (Non Pro). Interested in non Pro instead of Pro because Snapdragon730 is powerful enough for me. The rest of the phone is pretty much the same.
