yup, it's not just you. The main camera looks zoomed in by default. If you take a pic even on the camera app, it will appear noisy and zoomed in, but after you take then go to photos and see it'll look 'normal'.

If you're on auto function for camera, then zooming in sucks really badly. It becomes like pixels trying to zoom. Sometimes I just bring my old HTC10 along as the camera is much, much better (and also because I haven't learnt to handle the a1 camera yet).

It's quite bad on insta stories, because if you record a video and slide up to zoom, then it becomes damn pixelated, like as though the whole thing becomes 72p quality from 10 years ago
thanks! hope they fix it soon. my rear cam on ig looks ok though. only the front cam is zoomed in.

That's werid lei. Most of Xiaomi fone in my family are SD625 and yet the battery I feel dun gets so hot on non QC charger. Only QC charger will makes it even hotter.

But have u tried to remove the phone case and tried and see?

If it's still too hot. U can try to go down and ask if can help u check and fix. But my guess is that they probably will tells us there is nothing wrong with the phone.

There are battery drains reporting over at the Miui forums. No one knows why. You on the latest January Patch? The January Patch has lots of issues with it. Battery drain and files having issues when copying to SD card.

Yup. I'm using 3rd party file mangers like Solid Explorer. There are other using the FX File manager. All these 3rd party file managers are displaying 0bytes with the file copied to SD card. I have to unmount and mount the card again to see the actual file sizes.

Something is definitely not right with the quirky January patch. I hope Xiaomi stop meddling with the official Android patches.

Could be the Meltdown/Spectre issues. Not that Xiaomi could fix it.

Those CPU patches are causing a lot of problems.

I've read of some Pixel phones having battery issues as well. My Nokia 8 is fine though (no battery drain), except for some other quirks.
