Overall the case looks badass but I feel the QC could have been better for such an expensive case. My case had a deep scratch on one of the leg and part of the coating came off from one side of my side panel. I even see fingerprint on the inner black frame :s22:

Ya. During the weekend I did a closer inspection n realise actually got more hair line scratches.

Sent from Pillars of Creation using GAGT

Coating from some of the screws also came off on my case too. I hope when i decided to remove the plastic film from my tempered glass, I won't see any scratches. lol

Hey guys, noted on your feedbacks.
will try to feedback to Phanteks to get some part to back you guys up.

Phanteks Bad QC

took delivery of the evolv MATX (white) today, I would have to agree that phanteks QC is bad, or maybe i am unlucky to get one that has so many issues.

1) my front panel has scratches or scuff marks on the inward facing side, its not dirt or stains, cause i tried cleaning it but doesn't come out, at least its on the inside and not on the outer side.

2) one of the fan headers on the fan hub was bent out (the white header), the case fans came pre-connected by phanteks from the factory, haven't tested it but hopefully its still working.

3) the back IO/fan exhaust area had alignment issues with the PCI slots, there was quite a gap. [forgot to take the before pic to show]

But since the metal is thinner/softer in that area, it can flex a little so i tried to use force to close it best i could. The highlighted pic shown is already after i tried using force to align it back. I would have to manually press up against it to align it properly.

Sorry guys, those with issue please pm me the problem and if can, attach with a picture. This is easier for us to monitor your case as the thread is very long and we might miss some of the posts.

Again, sorry for the imperfections some of you guys facing. :(

Though I'm a bystander... Got to thumbs up for your service even though it's not the distro fault for the poor QC :o

Wow. If this is the kind of service you provide for the poor QC of Phanteks, I might just buy this case. =:p

Just that no customers are willing to show their builds be it complete or not which is worrying because our current normal cable management may not be good enough to hide from the 2 tempered glasses at the sides.

Is it really that glaring to see the cable management on the right side panel?
Nobody willing to give a peak to their build be it incomplete or not? :(
I am still on the fence with this case.

Those with tempered glass (and especially with internal LED blink shining), how do you deal with dust?

For my windowed version, every other few days, tiny specks of dust will 'stuck' at the window. But all I need to do is to swing out the panel and wipe with duster.

I can't imagine if I need to unscrew out the glass every other few days to dust... Will be a hassle.
