that right, because a large bulk of their revenue comes from their hardware. the margin is something that is unmatched for in the industry.
i think the only place with Ads is the Beats Radio. Correct me if I am wrong.
Can add same card on Mutiprle iOS device ?
Wasn't there an article that said NTUC linkpoints can be earned?
"First, there is the sheer convenience. I found I could still use the NTUC Plus! reward card to collect loyalty points at FairPrice supermarkets while paying with Apple Pay."

Or are the linkpoints collected in the bill?
Should be able too since Apple Watch also considered a 2nd device. Every device need to do another round of bank activation.
Hi manualvin,
In order to earn Linkpoints when using Apple Pay, you will have to present your physical card to the cashier, as Apple Pay does not have the function for that.
To avoid been accidentally charged twice, do inform the cashier that you are presenting your physical card to get the Linkpoints, and not to pay.
Likewise, in the article that you shared:
"First, there is the sheer convenience. I found I could still use the NTUC Plus! reward card to collect loyalty points at FairPrice supermarkets while paying with Apple Pay."
The writer had to use a physical card to earn the points.
Hope this clarifies.
Do let us know if you have any further queries.

They used to have iAds but don't know what happened to that...
Anybody tried this on public transport yet (trains or buses)?
oops deleted my post as I found the answer with some googlingNo it'll not work on Trains and Buses

Would have been cool, but I suppose Apple Pay wouldn't be able to beat the speed of using regular SMRT smartcards.

thumbprint verification would slow you down though, as opposed to the literal tap-n-go speed of regular SMRT-issued smartcards. I'm actually using a DBS NETS Flashpay enabled CC, so I was wondering if I would have been able to scan that into the phone and use that for public transport.maybe in the initial launch there might have some issue but London subway is using Apple Pay if I am not wrong . I guess London have more people than Singapore , right ?
You can use Apple Pay to pay as you go on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, River Bus and most National Rail services in London.

Apple Pay only captures your Visa/MasterCard, and not the nets flashpay of your card. oh well. Not a huge deal, Apple Pay still works great with regular NFC payment terminals. Just paid for lunch at Subway by tapping on my phone. Not much faster than using a Paywave/Paypass card, but it's so coolApple Pay only captures your Visa/MasterCard, and not the nets flashpay of your card. So no.
Unless Singapore releases cc/dc payments on public transport like what London did, or if Apple integrates with nets (which is extremely unlikely).
