i noticed idle vcore reading goes to 0 volts specifically when "package c state limit" is set to enabled (default auto)CPU-Z
always nice to see the idle vcore at 0 volts, thanks to Intel power states and a proper PSU

sometimes cpu cores still at 3700 not yet at 800mhz, but vcore reading already at 0 volts![]()

With mobile Penryn Intel introduced a new power state it calls C6. In the C6 power state the CPU is in a virtual reset state, and core voltage is very close to zero. The core clock, all of the PLLs, and caches are completely turned off.
This is of course a reference to the C6/7 power state compatibility issue raised since Haswell days. The SilverStone ST45SF-G 80+ Gold unit used here ran just fine with C6/7 enabled.... thanks to Intel power states and a proper PSU...
how is compare to its raven 02?
My RVZ02 article is almost complete except for the video card section... simply ran out of time, probably try to complete it and post once I get back from my unscheduled down time.i want to know too![]()
