Could any Zotac GTX 1070/1080 card owners check if their cards have warranty void stickers on the screws? Much appreciated!

Mine doesn't have warranty void stickers on the GPU itself, only have SKU/serial number/barcode sticker pasted at narrow side of fan cover.
Nothing at backplate.

Finally assembled my new PC, including the Zotac AMP 1070. What kind of OC are you guys running? I only managed to get +75Mhz core and +600Mhz memory, running at about 80 degrees at 100% load. What did you guys get?

Using zotac amp extreme gtx 1080. I just set +45mhz at core clock and didnt touch memory clock. When playing games, notice my core speed is at 2100mhz. Temperature at 70 degrees on average. Didnt try adding higher core clock as see no point.

Didnt really test my overclock using any gpu stress tools.

Thanks! Was thinking of watercooling and most brands aren't very friendly for that in terms of warranty. Not interested in the MSI SEAHAWK EK X either.

Honestly speaking, if you are interested into watercooling, you are better of going for Founders Edition instead, where you find more brands with proper waterblocks.

Second, doesnt mean you break the warranty seal = void of warranty. You still get to send back to the manufacturer. They will do the repairs or rma for you.

If you buy the zotac 1070 or 1080 amp, i dont even think you have the water blocks for it.

As long as you don't scratch the pcb board on the card. Zotac will accept rma.

hey bros just wanted to ask if my zotac amp! edition was normal, I realised during overwatch my 1080 gtx will be at 82deg all the time with thermal throttling to 1886MHZ with the side cover off. The card will be around 45 during idle and shoot up to 82 almost instantaneously when gaming... Is it running a little to hot? Also my fan curve is set to 100% after 70 degree...

Mine 1070. No problem except when i first power on the pc, the monitor will have no signal till the pc login to windows login screen. Unlike previously where i can see the msi logo for motherboard splash screen

Just an update on what Im facing when I'm booting up the pc with no signal to monitor and no splash screen till it reach windows login screen to my primary display connected with displayport.

I'm connected with 1 displayport(u2414h main display) and 1 HDMI(TV). I only uses pc screen only option(u2414h)for my pc and will only use extended mode to watch movies on TV and will switch to pc screen only after finish watching.

I discovered recently that when I boot the pc, the splash screen are shown on the TV and not my main monitor even though I did not use extended display to activate it. My main display which is my u2414h will have no signal till it reach windows login screen and at this time the TV will have no signal once it reach the same screen( which should be the case from the start as I did not activate extended mode)

I am only able to get immediate signal to my monitor and showing the splash screen after I remove the HDMI cable to the TV. Not sure why if I plug in both HDMI and displayport cable, the system will show the splash screen on HDMI device and not on the main displayport first even though HDMI is not activated in extended mode. Other than this small issue, the card is running fine

yes if you did a search in this thread i stated the high temp for the amp! edition of the 1080 is because of the high power draw. try to use afterburner and set the power limit to 88% and see if the temps drop.

Hi all,

Can I check if I were to change my casing from mitx to mid size atx casing with many in case fans, will my gtx 1080 gaming temp at 85-87 degree drop to 60 plus?
currently my mitx casing has zero case fans.
Anyone can help?

or must go water cooling to get 50 to 60??
Why are u obsesses with GPU temp? And beside that how is your house environment? Is there any good amt of airflow in your environment?

Gaming at 87 seems very high. I suspect is zero case fan
airflow is bad I supposed. Thought of buying new case with many fans to cool down gpu temp
:)
