Guys, need to do anything in particular to activate Visa Paywave function? I am not able to perform any paywave transaction, and upon checking the Paywave status, it says inactive.

Ensure that your NFC setting is turned ON. Check that your Visa payWave service is ACTIVE by going to Settings / Update Preferences/Dash Visa Account/Status. Launch your Singtel Dash App and ensure your screen is ON when you tap on the payWave terminal. If the previous steps didn’t work, uninstall then reinstall your Singtel Dash App.

Ignore the screenshot it is for another thing. Update to latest version of the app, look under other services, transfer to bank account. No need register

realised got so many banks to choose from now. i cant try cos no balance in the dash account.

I tried and successfully FAST min $1 back to a local bank

Last time only if you have SCB account then can.. I don't have SCB account so was not able to...

Better still can transfer to any bank that support FAST.

Exactly, it says check make sure that Visa Paywave is ACTIVE, but it does not mention what if it is shown as INACTIVE, which is my case. I'm under impression that it should automatically be activated, no?

Using Singtel Dash 4.7, the 'Transfer to Bank Account' leads to the same 'register at store' page that the Send Tab 'Find out more' does. What magic did you guys do to skip registration?

Gonna try the transfer to bank later. Not useful for iphone user without the NFC.

There's no magic.

If you use account (phone number) which was registered with SCB Dash previously, no need to activate / register at store anymore.

It is Singtel Dash. But guess need to register if previously not registered when using SCB Dash to do the transfer.

Yes. As already clarified above if you use account (phone number) which was registered with SCB Dash previously, no need to activate / register at store anymore. If not then need to register.

Reminder that the "old" DASH will ceased to work after 30 Sept 2017.

Try to get the FAST transfer to work. If not, suggest to transfer to SCB Dash first if you are worried about the $$ being tied up.
