Feel like getting this. this is even faster, thinner, and lighter than the 7.0 plus!
but so far there's no hint of price, or release date as far as I know.

BTW, anyone know if this 7.7 supports video output?
also, anyone got any release info to share?

hi,

it does support tv out. you might wanna check a quick review posted up at

http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_tab_7_7-review-638.php

hopefully it helps you decide if this device is what you want.
initially i was aiming for this but samsung is using its own , proprietary port to charge this device, connect it as usb to pc and use it to output to tv

i would prefer a tablet with the micro usb port as least i can easily charged it when its low batt.

thx, i saw the gsmarena review. but i could not confirm it elsewhere. seems that only gsmarena reports it having video out.

other than the proprietary port, any other issues? im fine with proprietary port.

Well high chance it will have video out. Look at the specs this tablet is equipped with, the 2nd most powerful tablet ever announce compared to asus transformer prime. And no way will samsung miss out a simple tv out function on this tablet.

and the 5.1Amps of battery it will comes with, whoa this tablet is a powerhouse with long battery life. The galaxy 8.9 comes with only a 6.0amps batt.

for me i would need time to accept the proprietary port

if i rmb correctly, even the tab 10.1 (Their flagship half a year ago) didnt have video out leh

you're wrong. 8.9 was supposed to be with 10.1
but due to some copyright/patent issues it was delayed.

the 7+ and 7.7 is supposed to be the later brothers of the former 2

ZZZZZZZ for me -.-

well, didnt it occur to you "7.0 PLUS" and "7.7" are different numbers~

Initially tot of getting the 10.1 but think this is better in terms of size, weight and speed. What do you all think? Understand this also has an universal remote app built in.

i havent heard of the 7.7 having PEEL functionality
but the 7+ has it, so it will come sooner or later. besides it does have the IR port

im quite anticipating this.

This is definitely better than the first tab 7.0 which I had. I like its portability. So versatile and useful. I will get the Note for my pocket and this for my bag.

wanted to get the 8.9 but since it does not support std phone calls, i may go for the 7.7. Then again, 5.3" Note and 7.7" not much diff...Gotta see the actual thing though

I'm pretty certain the 7.7 offers good portability. Combined with the fact that its got super AMOLED (instead of TFT LCD) and a 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor.

For me, i didn't really need the phone functionality, so i went with the 8.9 - i appreciate the bigger screen estate (less scrolling!). And its slimmer and lighter than my clumsy ipad2.

No way am I going to use such a big thing as a phone, though! :)

It's out on 13 Nov in US,so when is it arriving here????

I almost got the 8.9, then saw that the Note is quite cool and compact, just not suitable for men, since it's too big to slot in their pockets and use as a phone.

The new tab 7.7 seems so perfect!

Actually not to confusing people to chose , is giving more choice to
select which screen size fit their eyes and size rather than Apple
just one size 9" screen. Too big do you want let other people see
what you are looking at.

I am now waiting for 7.7" screen is more to my size .. will wait and see.
