As stated in the topic, where is the best place to get winter wear in SG? Thanks!

Winter temperatures vary in different countries, what kind of winter wear are you looking for?
Personally, I do not recommend getting sub-zero winter wear in SG.

Don't get those big fluffy ones from OG or 'winning' or those winter wear shops in Singapore. Those are soooo ugly... Go Zara and pick up those more fashionable (and obviously much nicer) ones! I got myself a leather jacket to go Perth during early spring last year, and despite being thin, it kept me warm even from strong wind at lighthouse and cold temp around 10deg. Remember it's not the fluffiness or thickness. It's about the right combination of layers you wear. :)

initially i wasn't keen in getting a such jackets from zara since they cost a bomb.. i went over to the OEE store in chinatown and my word... their jackets cost as much as those in zara!! with ugly china labelling. after this visit, everything else seems cheap to me since ugly ones cost $199 onwards. crazy!

anyway, Giodano's selling this thick jacket for $59 each if u get 2, normal price is $79. the salesgirl was telling me how good it is.. u guys can check it out.

get a sports thermal as your base. These are the ones used by footballer playing at 2 degree celsius temp.

Next get a sweater then an overcoat.

Laying like this is better. Gloves and scarf are good to have as well.

currently got heattech sales at uniqlo.. at 5-10deg you don't really need much preparation.. and ur polyester jackets will do just fine, if u scared cold, then get innerwear like heattech, if not, u're good to go :)

if you are looking for something technological you can consider arcteryx.. can buy from amazon through comgateway.. cheaper than buying it locally by at least 100sgd..

the local store perhaps dont have a big range, and not very friendly.

If you have been following Zara's leather jacket series, they are all in the range of S$4xx onwards.

I bought one for just S$299 today during Zara sale! For something that has good design, leather (sheep skin to be exact) material, it's considered very cheap.

It's something like this :

But mine is with breast pockets..

Can be kept for a long time with proper maintenance, it can last really really long compared to those cheaper synthetic leather jacket..

Planning to wear 100% wool thermal + nice looking sweater + this jacket for my Scandinavia trip :)
