1252) There's many ramen shops & restaurants at the top 2 levels above Isetan at Kyoto station. I ate at this ramen shop (at the ramen level where you see many ramen shops) and I love their fried rice and gyoza.

1253) Ramen + Fried rice + Gyoza = 950yen

Trip 3 (Nov 2011), Day 10: Osaka to Singapore.

Actually, I realized that I didn't actually took much pics on this day since it was a travelling day.

Therefore, I guess I'll just post pics of what I bought on this trip.

Trip 4 (Feb 2012), Day 1: Singapore to Tokyo, Tokyo to Sapporo Shin-Chitose.
We took JAL for this trip. Seats were uncomfortable although their inflight entertainment is much better than Cathay's. Food portion-wise, I found it alright although the breakfast on our way back to Singapore was really yucks.

Had a looong delay on the tarmac at Narita Airport because it seemed that there were a long queue of planes trying to take off. I had time to browse thru 2 magazines + short nap and we were still waiting for takeoff. -_-!

1259) Waiting for boarding at Changi

1352) Ahhh...our fave restaurant again...we eat at this brand every dinner at Sapporo. This time, we went to their branch at Susukino. They specialize in king crab dishes, and the entire building is the restaurant.

1353) I like that they have private rooms for every group of customers (even for 2 pax).

1354) All crab dishes. Love the crab croquettes so much we always order 2 portions of it.

1355) Heaven...Kani-zushi (crab porridge). I've tried this dish from other king crab specialty restaurants before and so far I find that this brand's Kani Zushi is still our fav.

1356) Cotton candy seller

1357) Susukino

1358) Comfy (and cute) overalls for wearing at home during winter

1359) Socks...

You a One Piece fan? If so, wait for my Day 13 & 14's pics...lots of One Piece stuffs.

Trip 4 (Feb 2012), Day 3: Day trip to Otaru

This was the 1st time I actually see falling snow. Me and hubby went to Europe (even Switzerland) during winter time but we've always missed falling snow by a day.

Was so happy seeing the snow falling from the sky the moment we stepped out of the hotel. The temperature was about -5 to -9 celcius on this day. I think the new gloves I bought from Sapporo wasn't warm enough so my fingers (and toes) were freezing cold all day long on this day.

It was snowing heavily at Otaru all day. We had to keep entering restaurants for snacks/food to hide from the snow.

1360) View from the train, from Sapporo to Otaru (about 40mins train journey)

1361) Arrival at Otaru station

1362)
