Today, I tried to do some DIY trunking since I am an uncle needing some exercise.
Gotten the white trunking from an ulu hardware stores in Woodlands industrial park. Surprised to find it's selling at $1.60 for each 2M sticks.
I ran my cat6 cables on top of my curtain rails, so I don't even need to hammer the trunking to the wall, just rest it on top of the rail.
Since I need something like 5.7M, I used a hand saw to saw one to 1.7M. The base trunking, I lay it as 2M + 2M + 1.7M, then top cover trunking, I lay it as 1.7M + 2M + 2M. This way, the trunking secure itself into a rigid 5.7M slap. Total cost is only $4.80.
Ended up, went back & bought more to tidy up some low lying cables in my house plus a $3.90 cutter just in case I need to cut & bend the trunking.
Good work out for an uncle.
In case anyone interested, here is the spec of my trunking. Enough for running 2 cat6 cable plus a telephone wire.

Category 6 and 6a cable must be properly installed and terminated to meet specifications. The cable must not be kinked or bent too tightly (the bend radius should be at least four times the outer diameter of the cable). The wire pairs must not be untwisted and the outer jacket must not be stripped back more than 1/2 inch (1.27 cm).
All shielded cables must be grounded for safety and effectiveness and a continuous shield connection maintained from end to end.Ground loops develop when there is more than one ground connection and the difference in common mode voltage potential at these ground connections introduces noise into the cabling

Quick Testimony for Bro Ayub. 
1. Came on time (please pardon him if should he run a little late for he is human after all and carrying a trolley-load of his equipments)
2. Discussed the best route for my cables to run from my router placed in the living room to my bedroom (typical 3-room setting of an old HDB estate)
3. Used 3M-brand Cat 6 cables - pure copper, I shall quote him - instead of OEMs which is a compound of silver and copper. That said, OEMs are still good enough for fibre and home use if you wanna save a bit.
4. Very neat patch up work using silicone to cover up any visible holes and allow me to paint, which will allow me to paint over the trunkings if need be in the future.
5. Job done in less than 2 hours. Very experienced guy who's been in the industry for 20-odd years so he knows his stuff well.
6. Speedtest results showed significant increase.
My previous setup was using a pair of Aztech 115EP (it's the only model you should be using, at least from Aztech if you still insist of using Homeplugs. My claim is backed by research in forums who shared real-life experiences)
This was using direct connection of Cat 6 cables from router to PC, after Bro Ayub's hard work.
The results I've taken are the lowest of 5 attempts, for both setups.
I'm not so hardcore into testing at different times of the day or ping to servers as far as San Francisco but the simple results speak for themselves.
The plan I'm on is Viewqwest's 100mbps Raptor plan (shoutout to you guys!), and these results were taken before the speed boost kicks in.
I believe the speed boost can be achieved across any ISPs you sign up with. My point here was, I was hesitant on doing cable trunking and opted for the use of homeplugs instead. But to my own consolation, my hesitance was prior to me stumbling upon Bro Ayub's contact.
Now I'll never look back; pretty much the same when people were hesitant about SSDs till they feel the difference themselves.

my highest result..
bro ayub took around 1.5hr to finnish his job.
he manage to run from living room,then route out to walk way and from there route into my room.
good job from him,he charge me 110.\
both end is faceplate.
at the end he giv me roughly 1 meter cat5e cable to connect from my desktop to the faceplate.

I have both a laptop and a desktop in my room, so how can I get him to cable it in such a way that both can use ethernet? Of course I can connect desktop to laptop by using desktop as bridge but I'm not sure if that's the best solution.
