According to BrightSideofNews, NVIDIA is preparing its whole new GeForce 700 lineup for late May. Most importantly, the GTX TITAN LE, which we were talking about for a while, is in fact the GeForce GTX 780.

The site claims that their Asian sources confirm the upcoming GeForce 700 series coming next month. The GK110-based graphics card, which would sport 2496 CUDA cores, is now said to be named GeForce GTX 780. While the GTX TITAN is a consumer part of the Tesla K20X, the GTX 780 would be a consumer version of the Tesla K20. The source claims that the GeForce GTX 780 would be 30% faster than GTX 680, which is quite interesting, since the original TITAN is only 23% faster (source). The card would arrive in late May, maybe even on Computex in June. Interestingly, there’s also a price mentioned — $499 to $599.

Moving forward to GeForce GTX 770. The card would receive a GK104-425 GPU, which would be almost identical to GTX 680′s processor. We are looking at a 25-30% performance boost here. Unfortunately, the card would still feature 256-bit interface. On the other hand it is said that the card will arrive with 4GB as a default configuration.

The third card detailed is GeForce GTX 760 Ti. This would basically be a rebranded GTX 670, which means it would sport 256-bit interface and 2GB memory. Taking about the performance — 20% over the current GTX 660 Ti. As for these numbers, I’m quite sure they got them from the hat, rather than a real, credible source.

As mentioned earlier, this high-end segment of GeForce 700 cards would arrive in late May. It is possible that all cards would be launched together. I’ve asked my sources about the recent leaks regarding the whole new series coming soon, but I received no confirmation.

GTX Titan ultimate re-branded as GTX 790??

HAHA

Even if that rumour is true it'll probably be the same card with full 15 SMX units instead of the existing 14 SMX units. Not much of a speed bump anyways.

Will the new features from GTX TITAN be implemented in the 700 series?

Hopefully M500 960gb can drop another $100, then I can use less hdds.

They're basically making a ****tier Titan and calling it GTX780, then rebranding GTX680 as GTX770 and doing the same down the line. The prices might drop a little but that's about it.

i think 790 will be 780 SLI on a single pcb

while the titan ultimate will be titan SLI on a single pcb LOL!!

I don't think its possible. Cause its way too expensive to make a Titan SLI on a single card. You will need 2 PCBs to make it into a single card like 9800GX2 back then. (single PCB will make it a super long card). But due to Titan's power consumption, a single fan will make it super noisy. Then it will probably cost $3K or more for the card....

nothing interesting... have to wait till 2014 :(

I agreed. I originally thought that GTX780 will be faster than Titan (assume it will be at least 50% faster than GTX680). But if what TS posted is true, that it will be slower than titan and performance advantage is very minimal.
