Just to ask 10x UNI means u have to spend around 2-3k to get a 10 dollar voucher right? That's not even 1% rebate

Why is this card so popular

10x UNI means 10 points for every $5.
It works out to be closer to 3% if you choose Cold Storage vouchers.

For people who are aiming for miles, the return is much higher that that.

A 10% administrative charge on top of total taxi fare is applicable for credit and charge card payments. The prevailing GST is chargeable on top of the 10% administrative charge.

That's what I thought. OK, going for EZlink.

BTW, I had several times a situation that when I want to pay via EZlink taxi driver says that machine is 'broken' and I have to pay via cash.

Do I need to check with them every time if the machine 'works' before getting in?

They're probably preferred cash, but I guess they can't say that or customers might complain.

Better check before going into the taxi. No problems for me so far except on 1 occasion.

I asked a driver before, and most do prefer cash as it's money in their pocket. Payment through credit card/EZ Link will be settled at the end of the month with the taxi company.

Common excuse is that the machine is broken. Usually I will ask if the driver is ok to accept EZ Link before I board the taxi, esp if I am somewhere where taxis are abundant (eg taxi queue at the airport).

Just want to check with folks who use UOB cards for the SMART$ rebate.

Is the rebate amount printed on your credit card slip? Wondering cos I used this card at Cathay over the weekend and there was no text indicating that I was awarded any SMART$.

Hello,

Does anybody know if it possible to pay NTUC insurance via vbox to get 10 $UNI?

Vbox has AIA and etiqa insurance.

The former can only be paid by giro (no credit card) while the latter can be paid by credit card

Ntuc income can be paid at AXS using DBS/POSB(gain points/rebate) and Diners Club cc. NTUC income online accept nets only.

has anyone tried to pay ST and/or SH bills directly from Hub iD and myBill and got 10x points?

a previous post mentioned that vbox is excluded due to GOV classification.
just wonder if paying directly on ST/SH, will it be considered utilities??

Someone said earlier in the thread that he paid Singtel via vbox and got 10x $UNI.
