Or 70km/h in KPE tunnel. I always drive at speed limit on lane 1, others try to overtake me on Lane 2, I will speed up and prevent him and he will stay at Lane 2 and within the speed limit. In this way, I will try my best to make sure everyone keep to speed limit. Keeping to speed limit will ensure he got home safely to his loved ones. So next time please don't point middle finger at me for doing this but wave to say thanks because I am helping to keep you safe. :s13:
please look forward to my middle finger ^_^

When i drive within speed limits i stay on lane 2. I don't treat public roads like my grandfather's road like road hoggers do.

i agree with 龙哥哥。
met a road hogger yest doing 60km/hr on lane 1 (jln buroh), same speed as the lorry on lane 2.in front no vehicles at all. honk, high beam all also useless..

Speedsters also treat public roads like their grandfather's road, thinking everyone must give way to them..

U see the folly of road hoggers but somehow ignore the recklessness of speedsters.. Both are inconsiderate behaviors..

its not about chionging, its about being gracious.

Just becos road hogging is wrong doesn't mean chionging is right, and vice versa. Both are inconsiderate behaviors and shd not be condone.

what do you think is the right thing to do? stay within speed limits on lane 1 and ignore whatever is behind?

usually only old people does that. if i have time, i will overtake and then drive much slower than him. i think even heavy vehicles can go faster than 60

but then again, whats the speed limit for that stretch?

Wondering where are the good old days whereby people keep left (whenever possible) and just let the faster car behind you pass.

Sometimes a little kindness on the road goes a-long way. No wonder even our "singa lion" also quit. :s13:
that's y come out this Unofficial Rules in Driving thread... to recall back some good old memory... :o

Likewise, stay on lane 2 if you wish to road hog. Expressway is not your grandfather's road.

Drive safe! :)

i find it very funny his post has got nth to do with roadhog why did u say 'if he wishes to road hog'

he is simply emphasizing on speed limits, why are u harping on road hogging? are you implying driving above speed limits could also be deemed road hogging?

i for one am not in opinion of driving 90 on overtaking lane. but i'm also not in opinion of ppl driving 150-180 like daredevils

with the mentality of "im driving @ 90km/h (speed limit) so i can gladly drive on lane 1 with the whole world behind me......."

Very soon there will be vans / pickups / buses / Lorries / Trucks... hack even those old SAF Rovers driving @ 50km/h in the middle lane and blocking the whole world behind...:s13:

Cannot say they are wrong cause they are "keeping within speed limit" and "not blocking the right-most lane" what...

Mind-Blogging what some drivers are thinking here.... :s22:

I do not ignore the folly of reckless driving and inconsiderate drivers, which part of my posts gave you the impression that i do? By me not supporting road hogging does not imply that i advocate reckless driving. It is amazing how you can deduce that by not road hogging i become a reckless speedster.

I am pointing out the inconsiderate behavior of road hogging which some users in this thread seem to think is correct. What i said is very simple and i shall say it again, don't road hog lane 1. :)

As far as i understand, lane one is for overtaking. Not for one to continue driving from start till end everytime and swerve hard to your left to exit the expressway, causing stress to other drivers.

I also find it funny how you can link road hogging and speed limits together to befuddle the discussion.

In my humble opinion, one's driving speed has no relation to the act of road hogging. The act of road hogging is simply to obstruct traffic behind you, it is that simple. Whether you are driving at 20kmh or 200kmh is besides the point. Or for some reason (ego?) do you have a problem with letting others go faster than you.

Drive safe! :)

just tailgate a while, no response, undertake la... why spend so much time with these bloody hoggers? you go fast means you treasure time. they go so slow, they have all the time in the world to sleep.

lane one is for overtaking, that's all... don't care in what kind of speed, you are not TP, is nothing to do with you and you can't do anything... just keep yourself away from any cars speed faster then yours...

pls look carefully. he's talking about speed limits. you replied to him saying not to road hog.

now you're saying driving speed =| road hog. not sure which is which now :spin:

i'm ok letting them pass me, once i see from a distance i'll siam already. let them boost their ego abit. boosting ego comes at the risk of reducing life span.

Yup i can't be bothered to tailgate, hi beam, honk, middle finger, etc, they are usually in their own self righteous world. No choice just undertake, sometimes even have to go until lane 3 to undertake them. Imagine even lane 3 can go faster than them. :(
