Secondary Backup BIOS
Probably invaluable for some.

The BIOS switch button is on the right with the Sapphire logo

The Toxic 270X has this higher end feature and it lets you experiment with other BIOS versions without fear of a failed flash update. The lower end and shorter usually lack this.

jus curios, on sapphire webby for r9 toxic & vapor-x cards, they mentioned legacy mode & uefi mode bios. if say failed flash update, is it possible to boot with uefi mode bios if os installed using mbr partition, and vice-versa?

Dual Firmware Support

This product supports both Legacy and UEFI BIOS. By factory default, the card itself is under Legacy mode.
By pressing the button with SAPPHIRE logo, UEFI mode will be easily enabled.

What a coincidence, I just tried it out this morning with the secondary BIOS and it booted into Windows without issues on a MBR partitioned SSD.

And the reason why I tried it out is to capture this photo... and dump the 2nd BIOS too.

You're welcome.

Guess you are among the power users who make good use of the dual BIOS function... can be very useful at times esp. when playing with BIOS mods.

Back then I flashed my HD6950 to unlock to full shaders, had to keep fingers and toes crossed that everything went right cos the non-reference card had only 1 BIOS chip. No such worry with dual BIO cards.

I am gonna make a feeble attempt to give you an answer. Currently from Sapphire they haven't given us an ETA. But " MY " opinion is that it's going to be pretty soon. It should be in 2 weeks but I can be wrong.
