Reason why some registered new account is to avoid any issues to their default account if complications occur with their Nexus 5 orders.

Not really. Its when you first create your account, Google will assign you to the country you connected from. So if you use an exisitng account, you would have already been assigned to Singapore. You can try to change it, but google will still know you originated from SG already.
Only way around is to connect via VPN and open a new account so you are detected by google as originating from that country.

Also, as with what happened with the N4. Do not keep logging into the new account via SG IP. I read cases on XDA where google cancelled their pending order as they were not from USA.

Going by my US Playstore experience, every address has to using JP forwarder's.

ask tenso to buy for you? or buy liao send to tenso?
must u change ur CC address?

I just ordered, so here are the steps.

1) Register at Forwarding service connecting overseas customers and Japanese online stores [ Tenso.com ]

2) Send over photocopy of your IC/driver's licence/passport front and back. They just want to know your name and address as Japan's laws dictate they have to do this.

3) Install VPN, I used OkayFreedom. https://www.okayfreedom.com/

4) Get a Japanese connection using OkayFreedom.

5) Go to https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_black_32gb and select your choices. I used Chrome's Incognito mode (Ctrl-Shift-n) so I can translate the website and avoid signing out of my real Google account)

6) When you click checkout you will be asked to register a new Google account. Register for it with the address provided by Tenso. (Guide here: Shopping on Japanese Websites)

7) Enter your credit card details (shipping and billing address must both be Tenso's). Click buy and wait for the item to arrive at Tenso.

8) Once you receive the email from Tenso, do the following and pay:
http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/a.../nexus-5-thread-4369106-132.html#post80915679

You will have to pay the postman GST when he sends it to your house.

Do not misunderstand. ALL Nexus 5 variants have LTE.

It is the LTE Frequency Bands that are different which makes the US sets not compatible for SG networks.

On the LTE side we see the FCC leaks and schematics leaks were spot on. There's a considerable set of LTE band coverage for the USA, including Band 17 and 4 for AT&T, Band 4 for T-Mobile, and 25, 26, and 41 for Sprint (making this another Sprint Spark device), and of course LTE roaming band equivalency with the pentaband WCDMA we've come to expect with newer devices. The only thing that's missing on the USA variant is no Verizon (which should not be a surprise to anyone), and no Band 7 for Canada. Just like the new Nexus 7 LTE situation, there's two variants, as I speculated publicly online (LG-D820 is USA, LG-D821 is rest of world), and the rest of world variant has the obligatory Band 3, 7, 20, and so on that makes sense for most markets. This is a dramatic step up from the Nexus 4 which only included hidden Band 4 LTE with appropriate baseband software.

I'm not sure but i think that list is not correct.

List of LTE networks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I know for sure we operate on the 1800 band. And that list is correct.

Singapore 1800 3 FDD December 2011 [227][228]
SingTel Singapore 2600 7 FDD December 2011 [227][228]

Band 3,7.

Seems like your older wiki page isnt updated as the info is detailed launch at 2005.

In other words, no LTE. This is the dealbreaker for me.

See and read Post #724. The question was asking for 3G compatiblity.

Everybody already knows that US sets don't support SG LTE networks.

I don't think so. I've been reading the N5 threads on HWZ and quite a few people are questioning the Non LTE support in SG as they say 1800 spectrum is supported here so the phones from US will have LTE like the N7 LTE from US. I guess we'll only know for sure once the US phones arrive here
