Hmm but probably not fully burnt in yet?

Anyway I plan to come down on 5-6 May and it should already be burnt in then :D

No worries, we are now in the process plus people who are trying, should be fast enough! :D See you soon!

Pre-ordered. IMO best universal IEM under 1.5k (except AKG 3003, different sound sig) and finally a dynamic driver earphone that sound like how I always wanted dynamic to sound like....

Now just need to wait and wait and wait.

Just tried 850. Love everything except the bass which was quite overpowering for me. Maybe try my luck again next week, hopefully with more run in the bass can simmer abit.

Due to overwhelming response and limited stocks, we can now only take in 15 more pre-orders of the JVC HA-FX850.

This is to avoid long waiting time as the next batch of stocks are expected to arrive around August. First come, first served basis will be applied.

Managed to order a set. Super value for the price. I agree that the bass is a little more then I wanted but given the fact its almost brand new and everything else sound perfect, its really worth a try.

Mai forget, MMCX connectors means still can tweak the sound with cables.

IMO, I think the FX750 represents better value for money, especially if you, like me, don't intend to toy with aftermarket cables. I think the two(FX750 and FX850) sound remarkably similar and from my short audition(~30mins, impromptu visit and we had other commitment elsewhere) I cannot discern much difference between the two. From memory, they are both definitely a step from the FX700, the mids are no longer "overwhelmed" by the bass/treble and is a lot more prominent. What is a shame though is that they also kept FX700's bass, which I still find is a touch too much. Although I don't find them overly annoying from my short listen, I cannot say if this impression will stay if I listen to them for an extended period of time.

To be fair, the FX850 is new and not fully burnt-in and I was using my gf's iPod Classic, so it is entirely possible that you find the FX850 is (significantly) better than the FX750 but from my short session I don't find the difference, if any, to be immediately obvious.

Yeah imo both have rather similar sig, almost similar bass quantity with the 750 feeling more conjested and lacking some of the 850's detail. The 850 felt really natural and "free". I think this alone already made quite a difference. The 650 on the other hand sounded the most different, lesser bass but a little raw and more snare, which unfortunately wasn't to my liking. Tested those with ak120, but not burn in yet also :D.

Seems like more interesting discussion here, like what we've been hearing to other customers who have tried the line up of Woody series. :D We shall see what we all have to say after the FX850 has been fully burnt in. ;)

JVC HA-FX850 has been SOLD OUT! No more pre-orders will be accepted. On the other hand, we can only take in 17 more pre-orders for JVC HA-FX750. First come, first served basis will be applied.
