jian dao jian ok wat....but the food is crap now with all the AT

But to be frank, their dishes is rather cold when i went there for dinner on a weekday but that aside, just judging by the taste i think still ok. Pork chop abit weak compared to Beo Crescent but i still like Jian Dao Jian's curry sauce better.

See if i can lure u back with these photos :s13:

Haha I always every week go eat Pasir Panjang one since it's on my way to school...

(Actually not really, I take bus instead of MRT which means taking 2 hours to reach school... but the reward is a nice plate of curry rice for breakfast)

I don't like Jian Dao Jian @ Jalan Besar also. Used to patronise it about a decade ago but quality of their ingredients have dropped and everything is served cold. Prices are ridiculous for chup chye png as well!

I personally tried Kitchener road and the one at geylang lor 35, i prefer the one at geylang lor 35.

The essence of eating curry rice is the mixture of the curry sauce and the mix of the lor bak sauce. Black and red combi, the taste just explodes.

I ever tried just pure curry without ordering the lor bak and the sauce, taste normal and nothing fantastic. I am not a lor bak person, but the combi just works for hainanese curry rice.:)

+1 for this curry rice...

Similar curry rice at south area is at Tiong Baruh (corner of coffee shop) and Telok Blangah Cresent Food Center... Think its operated from same family..

The thai food at the nearby coffeeshop sells better food at a cheaper price. There is also lavender food centre and Jln Berseh food centre nearby :o
