Ready stocks? Only Challenger and Bigger department will have it.

No ready stocks but order and collect another day. Almost all the stores that brings in Samsung monitor. SLS also no bring in.

I did look at amazon options. But the pricing for it is at $600USD. Even with shipping waiver, i would go for local $999 promo instead, as it has a 3 years on site warranty. $130 gap difference, i would be willing to pay for just in case this big and heavy stuff goes kuku for some reason.

I did however find a few more alternatives, such as the Acer B326HUL, but online mentioned that the quality for the overall build is almost crap. And only available from Amazon.

Next is HP Envy 32. It is the only one with integrated Beats Audio (overhyped) speakers with no way to pivot, tilt nor swivel. Hence the cheapest among the rest. It looks ugly with the big speakers on both left and right.

Last is BenQ BL3200P. One of the best reviews out there, and the best stand out there. But for amazon the price so ex almost same price as our best Hwzoner selling. Im surprised that this model, no effing retail stores bother to bring in. Only 2 or 3 retailers. And yet need to order.

What is the native refresh rate and panel type for this??

Actually I hunted for the corsairs ones for my K95 (no idea why K95 don't issue those as standard), until I gave up and ordered from WASD instead. It's lovely though!

You can buy from the link I posted if you're still interested. But you'll need a forwarder. I almost bought from them, but I tried contacting Convergent to see if they had them in stock since I thought they might be considered spare parts and I was lucky that they did.

AMVA panel are much better than IPS imo. IPS got the ugly glow in the dark and the contrast ratio is stuck at 1000:1. Too bad this one is only 8bit + FRC for color processing. Not real 10bit. Does it have new DP that works with AMD Freesync?

I think this at $999 is better deal than Dell 3415.

Good discovery and must create new thread for SIC and discussion! The age of Samsuck monitors may be returning! Dell quality and service dropped a lot now to be considered premium value.

Sadly this monitor was not meant to use for AMD freesync. Its display port version is 1.2. So i guess it wont support?

But i check all the samsung monitors all mentioned that their new lines of monitors all version 1.2 DP. Yet the next thing they say it supports freesync over a firmware update? Confused. Haha.

Yes what you said about VA panels are true. There is no obvious IPS glow on this model. Really kudos.

Actually wanted to do a acrylic base with led light glow. Didnt have the time yet to do. Once got time, will start to do measurement and get the acrylic settled.

I think it's not much cheaper then in singapore cos of the exchange rate?? But ordering from home is really comfortable and addicting AND amazon cso really give amazing service.

Setting it up

I have gotten all my delivery with the last one ordered on 12/12 sale which was the mx100 ssd. After lazada delivered it around 10:40pm I immeditly got unpacking the boxes and got to work!

Beforehand I been watching youtube videos on how to build a pc and so far the thing I wished I had done was read the motherboard manual earlier lol. That would save me a couple of hours. I'm a person who normally toss the manual aside and google for results if I get stuck. Well the answers was all in the manual :O

I finished at around 5am! I was stuck so long at where to plug the casing wires cos normally other electronics there's shapes or color clues and I didn't expect to be looking at a bunch of pins with no name. Well like I said, should have look at the manual earlier.

Cable mangement was also quite time consuming but not as difficult as I imagine. Zip ties are your friend. It booted up the first time I on it which was a big relief. All was good to go! Only had to plug in my hdd after windows installed in the ssd.

Reviewing my setup, the mobo wasn't a prefect fit to the case. The spacers couldn't reach the most right of my mobo thus inserting the mobo power difficult for it needed to be stable to snap it in place. But other then that, all is very good.

So far It's been really awesome. Boot up is fast and games (far cry 4) and Adobe software editing products runs smoothly.

And one more thing I wished I had done was to note down any serial number on the components before installing. I had to remove the gpu to check for it for warranty purpose.

Anyway I feel it's not difficult at all just confusing and overwhelming for the amount of cables that greets you but you understand them as you go along and the results are so rewarding :)

Congrats on a great hoot! I haven't been building PC for too long (about 8 months now), but as a general rule of thumb if u have to choose to keep 1 manual it's always the mobo manual! If you feel like you're over stretching any cables best to get extension for it.

You wouldn't want to stretch any mobo pins.

Thank you :) , im really happy with the outcome. Anybody who needs a 1440p gaming pc can use this.

Couldn't agree more, those mobo manuals are hella important!

Ah... My experience wasn't entirely smooth either and I had to drop them a couple of follow-up emails before I eventually got a definite reply from them.

But that was quite a few months back though, so I'm not sure how things are right now.
