For those wanting to buy a 2014 Mac mini

Buy the 256gb pcie ssd version and you will be able to add a second storage hdd using the dual hdd kit "upper" of the 2012 mini. Makes more sense than just replacing the sata hdd to ssd and still be stuck to 1 drive. Unless of cos when the price of a 1tb sata ssd is not a problem. Then again, I would think it is still better off with a pcie 256gb ssd and a 2tb 2.5" hdd.

Another option would be the 1tb fusion drive, comes with both pcie ssd cable with 128gb pcie ssd AND the sata cable with a 1tb hdd.

Upgrade the ram to 8gb too for better longevity...

Next step to do would be to change the 1tb to a 2tb 2.5"... Seagate backup plus slim 2tb external drive is cheaper than the bare drive :/
