Hi Renfred89,

I tested 3 sets of note 3 and note edge.

Best regard,
JK

I mean the ac87u u have might not exhibit the problem cos of technical quality. The ac87u I had could replicate the problem.

If that's the case, then can confirm that some ac87u is indeed flawed lor..

Could be due to combination of setting. Like the VLAN Dead Loop which I got is due to IPTV + USB + AiProtection.

Dear all,

Did another test on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 still no problem.

Model number: SM-N910G
Android 5.01
Baseband: N910GDTU1B0C7
Kernel version: 3.10.40-4887136
Build number: LRX22C.N910GDTU1B0E1
Smart network switch: Disable
Mobile Data: Disable

Test with 5Ghz on RT-AC87U - Build 5587 - 149/80mhz

Best regard,
JK

Might be because im using N910C instead of N910G. The DC is okay. Im okay with using 2.4ghz. Its the lagging issues sometimes that screwed up the experience. sometime facebook just loading slowly. Previously i have serious lagging issues, now seems fine after i forget my wifi connection and reconnect again. But still lagging issues occurs.

Flow Acceleration

Any idea why NAT acceleration now only shows CTF only, FA looks not enabled in merlin too. Do i need to do hard reset once more? I upgraded to Merlin.
If you disable STP in Merlin's builds immediately after a reset to factory defaults then Flow Acceleration will be enabled along with Cut Through Forwarding. Then, as you methodically activate features one at a time you check to see if FA has been disabled. If so then you simply disable that feature if you wish to retain FA.

Good luck. :)

SM-N910F for Europe
SM-N910K/SM-N910L/SM-N910S for Korea
SM-N910C - Asia, Europe, South America
SM-N910FD - United Arab Emirates
SM-N910FQ - Turkey
SM-N910H - Asia-Pacific
SM-N910G - Singapore, India, Australia
SM-N910U - Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Chile
SM-N910W8 - North America

SM-N910C using Exynos
SM-N910G using Snapdragon

Unknown E825B1 Wi-Fi Module used in both?not confirmed(Have to dismantle SM-N910G to know for sure).

Probably that's why I don't encounter issues using 5G on SM-N910G local set.

Dear Keigo,

Please do not set Network Key Rotation Interval : set to 0

In the long run the device will drown.

Please stay default 3600.

The ac3200 n ac68u thread are relatively silent compared to this one

When I still have my 87u, my note3 n tab s 8.4 wifi were also affected with WAN dropping. ...on LAN they are ok..... not to mention the lagness and frequent dc. Hope the new drivers will resolve those problems..... else I really suggest that you guys move on.... its been more than 8mths already. ... router shd be something we set it up and forget

Hi ASUS@SG, can answer my question, thanks. Cause I need to know if you all have already taken note of the problem with s6 edge and iPhone 6 plus. If not then I think I need to move to ac3200. thanks

I know it's more stressful to the router but I find it to be more stable using this setting.

No drop in wifi and and any d/c. Quickly drown then I got excuse to change new router.
