I went to the pap rally just now cos near my place and was hoping for free food. Reached rally spot before 9pm.

I support wp and will vote Sdp way ahead of pap. But I can honestly say it's going to be very difficult to upset them.

Vivian is actually a good & natural speaker, though he sounded a bit like he's going to break down sometimes. Tharman is softspoken but articulates well. Sim Ann speaks very well too, and made me feel a bit horny at times, don't know why. The guy whose father was a pilot seems competent.

The pap candidates naturally only spoke about the good side of their policies but they have their points. Although I felt disgusted when they said things like how they are unlike sdp who is going to abuse the reserves when they are the most expensive politicians in the world. And recall vivian's yog fiasco.

Crowd wise, turn out relatively good but maybe because it's Saturday. Very spacious, easy to move around beo girls. Generally very reserved crowd unlike vociferous oppo members. But can tell from their expressions they were heartfelt supporters. I think many in the estates are quietly like that.

The quiet majority of pap supporters is too many. I think sdp unlikely to win. Maybe give them 30% chance at most right now. And I don't see anything to change those numbers.

Pardon me, maybe I was never in the range of making millions a year and I cannot imagine myself making that kind of money from the people yet can face them wanting to cry. Question as in, cry what? If you have dobe a good job, the people wil praise you, u should be happy. If u screw the people who paid you millions, even if ur whole family knee on the stage and cry, I dont give a sheep.

And Sinkie going to allow them to continue make millions and cry on stage? Sinkie relly got expensive hobby.

He spotted on most of the average Sinkie problems, our daily problem in SG. I used to dislike his way in the past, but for now, if I fall under where he is contesting, he will get a firm vote from my family without questions.

First day speech, struck a chord with the poorer singaporeans and their issue
2nd day speech, appealed to people to think about their community and for them to not be afraid to stand up for their own views using his own account and past.
Today's speech, appealed to the swing voters and those who are afraid they might be too extreme e.g. business owners and people who feel that they are out to destroy singapore

I have said this in the other thread, Dr Chee planned his speeches very well and should keep up momentum but must not lose his cool. In this day and era, social media is a very powerful tool, all it needs is just one good speech and it would explode. That is what happened for him for the first speech and he continued the momentum.

Whether it translates to votes or not, I am pretty sure that people's image of him will change and build credibility for him. This election is a great comeback for him whether he wins it or not.
