Has anyone gotton new driver for T230? Geniatech email support refuse to reply.

1.31.1145.0 so far only works with supplied TotalMedia 3.5 with no DVB-C support. Tried progdvb, altdvb, smartdvb, dvbdream all will BSOD and crash. DVBViewer does not but has display problems.

I'm using the same driver version as well - works okay with DVB-C via Starhub point.

TotalMedia 3.5 works okay, but can't figure out how to add the HD5 frequency for scanning, so using NextPVR instead.

U know how to edit the INI files in the tuning directory right? If not do let me know and I will post an example. I recommend not editing the INI file, but instead, making a copy of the existing INI file, rename it as something like "Singapore channel.ini" and edit the new file.

Yeap, thanks, figured out how to do it after a bit of trial and error.

I named it "Singapore - Starhub.ini"... added the Super Sports Arena frequencies too, but realized they are not HD, so deleted them thereafter.

Here's the content of the ini file with SSA frequencies:

PT360 r for Android device , I read from some Russian forum that it will work in windows if install with T230 driver ma.

T230 with OTG cable can work on their app, but distorted video.

I managed to try out on the Starhub DVB-C TV antenna point. Scan and found 52 channels but cannot watch at all. CANNOT watch local channel at all.

Overall, still good buy.

I got the CR2025 battery for the remote control that comes with it. You just need to install the "TV IR" program, then select either Total Media or Windows Media Centre.

It does work but limited function on Windows Media Centre. Can only use :

1. Volume up and down
2. Channel up and down
3. Maximise and windowed

The rest doesn't seems to work on Windows Media Centre.

Yeah I gotten this DVB-T2 USB Tuner, at about $21.

I installed the drivers manually from their website as I'm using Windows 10, and searched channels within their Total Media, but I am only able to get Channel 5 and Suira HD? How am I suppose to search other channels like CH8 CH U? thx

****i pressed the remote for so long then realized to battery included... hahaha

PS: I don't have a Starhub port in my room tho, so I'm using it only with the Antenna... If like this I think I can only watch HD5 or just watch via Toggle lol...

Are you referring to T230 or something else and $21 is USD or SGD?

If your room got MATV port, can try connecting to it.

Oh yeah, sorry it is $21.60 USD I think.

Yup T230... What is a MATV port? I don't think my room got those port like Starhub port etc

PS: I think i need to use other software, TotalMedia tend to crash on WIndows 10 after awhile of using it.

MATV refer to Main Antenna TV port installed by HDB, not sure if this is still applicable to BTO flat. It has been reported here that it can be use and might be better than indoor antenna.

Thanks but I think only installed in living room and Master room nia... My room don't have that port. My TV in my room I also use those big big external antenna, but can receive all local channels, this one cannot..

Isit possible to grab one of those bigger antenna and plug into the T230?

I have tested the supplied antenna of the T230 - hit and miss according to location/estate for indoor reception. Try placing as near to your window as possible but yes possible to use another antenna with T230

Cool thanks, I've placed it at the highest point of my windows already, still only these 2 channels....

Guess I will buy those big antenna and try using it...

PS: After shifting around the Antenna, I am able to get CH8 CH5 in HD, and some others like CNA etc. Can't seem to find CH U, shifting it again got CH U and CH8 but not CH5, I guess the antenna isn't strong enough with that small size haha. And Total Media seems to crash alot...

Hey anyone which settings should I use for Video Recording Storage settings? Using High quality now, but I saw there are, Standard Play, Extended Play, and Long Play.

Anyone can tell me which is the best or what is the difference between them? Thanks!

As the recording time gets longer, the recorded pic quality drops. You can test and check out for yourself the change in quality.

Since storage media is so cheap nowadays, continue to use your High Quality.

Yeah I did a 3 hour recording of CH5 HD, about 12gb of file size, quality is very good, audio video in sync until the very end.

1 question, I'm not sure why it always says my hard disk has insufficient space when going to record it? I cannot record it into my storage drive... Please help!

Oh? How then you managed to record the 3 hr programme? I got the same message too, but that's on 8Gb thumb drive.

I have 3 Internal HDD, and a SSD as C drive.

My D drive are meant for multimedia storage. I tried on E drive and X Drive, both works, just my D drive one won't work... All 3 are different brands of HDD, all on SATA6, not sure why also...

Anyone managed to get mygica PT360 work in windows 8.1?

My Asus T100 crashed immediately after I installed it Using T230 window driver.

bro, i've gotten the PT360 working on my pc win8.1 (using microusb-usb convertor) with T230 driver, TV IR and TotalMedia 3.5.

Able to scanned 8 channels, is that the default? (been ages since i watched local tv lol)

And also, anyone with the PT360, is it normal for it to be really hot when in use?
