This is my second time renting from dimitri_can since I had good experience with him the first time round. This time it was no difference. Rented the Menu 4 SIM card since the MiFi were unavailable on my date of travel. Met up with him and he explained all the procedures on setting up the SIM card. Reached Tokyo, turned on my phone and I'm good to go. Was at Tokyo and Kawaguchiko and experienced full connectivity even on the highway. There's a data cap but wasn't a problem since I'm using it only on my iPhone. In conclusion, this SIM card has been an awesome companion with me during my trip.

Some clarifications on my services

1) Delivery is done not by normal courier services providers, the services provided is premium. E.g if you are not at home, they can arrange to pick up from another location within the next 3 hours.

2) Travel adapter is provided to all customers, even for new customers. Started out when i introduced this service.

3) No power bank is provided, however the battery can last for at least 1 and half days for MIFI 3 or at least 7-8 hours for the other MIFIs. Cos i know that all users nowadays will at least carry 1 power bank out with them.

4) I don't find it necessary to do price match because the services i provide since i started this 1.5 yrs ago is premium service. It's like people always say "You buy peanuts, you get peanuts"

Can any competitor guarantee that if the MIFI breaks down last min, a MIFI device will be sent within the next 12-24 hours?

Can any competitor guarantee hidden discounts for you and your friends upon re-rentals and referrals?

Can any competitor guarantee you "before rental","during rental" and "after rental" support?

Thank you to all my supporters for supporting my services and i thank you from the bottom of my heart.
m(_ _)m

just returned from my trip over the weekend!

rented menu 3. very good battery life. was out up to 15 hours on some days and did not need to use my powerbank at all!

think i had good reception in almost all areas from Tokyo >> Kamakura >> Yokohama >> Kyoto >> Uji >> Nara >> Osaka >> Kobe >> Himeji >> Kurashiki >> Hiroshima >> Miyajima.

mainly used g-maps, surfing hyperdia, social media, emails.

travel adaptor provided (i chose A) was very useful as some lousier hotels only had one power point.

price is good too. no worries of throttling if data exceeded.

would love to rent again in the near future but too bad, next trip will probs only in 2017. :(

Hi dimitri_can, I am interested to rent this nano-sim (menu 4, $5/day) from you. I have a Huawei MIFI E5372T. Can you confirm for me if my MIFI with your sim card can work in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara)? Is it easy to set up? I think need to key in APN etc. According to the spec I googled for my MIFI, it says the below frequency band. I have tried my MIFI in Australia, Taiwan and Batam and they worked.

Quad Band 4G 900/1800/2100/2600 MHz
Quad Band 3G 850/900/1900/2100 MHz
GSM/GPRS/EDGE Quad Band
850/900/1800/1900 MHz

I googled for Japan frequency band and (http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html) gave the below. I think it should work since Japan 4G has 1800Mhz and 2100Mhz.

3G 2100 DoCoMo; 3G 2100 SoftBank; 3G 1700 Ymobile; 4G LTE KDDI 1500Mhz; 4G LTE au 800/1500/2100Mhz; 4G LTE EMOBILE 1800Mhz; 4G LTE NTT Docomo 800/1500/1800/2100Mhz; 4G LTE SoftBank 2100/2500Mhz;

And also in your table for throttling, it says Yes (exceeds 1Gb for 3 days), does it means if my data usage is above 1Gb for 1st day, then it will start to throttle after hitting 1Gb? How long will this throttling last and how much throttling are we going to see, 200kbps? Will it reset? I am looking to rent this for 9 days and at the moment, your schedule is free for the period I want. Sorry, ask so many questions. Thanks.
