1) Sunset direction, the line shows where the rays will come from
2) The line in which the sun will move thru out the whole day
3) This shows the sun position during the course of the day, changes as you slide the slider above
4) Sunrise direction, line shows where the rays will come from

2 different period in one year,
Late Mar to Late Sept = Sun is higher north
Late Sept to Late Mar = Sun is further south

Hi,

Just want to raise some discussion to gather some opinion.

Vista
Merits - Close to existing amenities at Potong Pasir. Close to MRT and some blocks facing private houses got unresricted view.
Disadvantage - Close to mosque, beside main road noisy

Court View
Merits - Blocks Facing North are Close to Mrt good view of Park.
Disadvantage - One or 2 block blocks right in from of T junction

Lake View
Merits - Quiet and some blocks got direct view of lake. I will suppose windy too.
Disadvantage - Maybe will kena view of funeral palour too. Far from MRT.

Having seen the 3D model myself, I would go for them in this following set.

Lake View, Vista, Court View

BTW... I called hdb and my assigned officer , she mentioned that our selection invitation dates can be checked online way before we obtain the letter in our mailbox. Chances is those small numbers will get it the same time. For us big numbers she say won't so fast, can go online check the selection date, the physical copy will batch by batch send.

And.... the selection dates will be released batch by batch like 1-100 first etc.

So... happy waiting for me hais...

Of course! Lakeview got view of the lake leh. And not as clustered as Courtview. Think I might switch to Vista instead of Courtview..

But lake got risk of seeing funeral parlour and pesky insects migrating from the lake

Other than the view, it's north east facing..And good unblock space out the window..

Courtview although got east, south east, alight north east face..But the view is future high rise development..

Lake = stagnant = dengue?

Sent from using GAGT

Lake will have fish..And it's big and deep, not the ideal condition for them to lay their eggs..

Do ponds and lakes breed mosquitoes?
If it is a permanent body of water (such as a lake or pond), it is much less likely to be a source of mosquitoes than if it were a temporary body of water such as a puddle. A puddle three inches deep and three feet in diameter can easily produce 10 to 20 times as many mosquitoes as your average 1-acre farm pond.

Permanent bodies of water develop resident populations of predatory species (aquatic insects, fish, salamanders) that reduce or eliminate the mosquito larvae in that environment. Most mosquito species would not even lay eggs in a permanent body of water. Several species of mosquitoes can breed in permanent bodies of water, but most of these have not been implicated in West Nile virus transmission.
