I'm sure a lot of people here are very knowledgeable about the various savings accounts (e.g. OCBC 360, UOB One).

But for those who still don't know, and needs a table for comparison, here's a rather comprehensive one!

Very comprehensive indeed :) Take note that UOB One Condition 1 must be fulfilled before the higher tier bonus interest for fulfilling condition 2 or 3 is applicable.

Many simply need a simple savings accounts with no conditions at all. Which simple savings accounts give better interest?

actually BOC is good enough with just the salary crediting. 1.2+ % liao. pay bill i believe all ppl does, so add up to about 1.8-2% liao.

Do note that $50k is the maximum limit that SDIC has insurance on per FI, across all accounts with that FI. If you are the kiasee type, it's best to split into multiple $50k accounts across different FIs.

If you have maxed out the no. of FIs in Singapore, please approach your friendly mama shop for these "security boxes":

If not able to do the salary credit into the BOC, will still have 2.55%, right?

If you have more than 50k, it may be better off in a FD. Not much reason to hold so much liquid cash.

Of course got reasons for holding more than 50k in savings account instead wanting FDs.
