if they restrict, what will happen ?

they ban coupons usage on the account. my guess is if your orders are in "shipping requesting" status for a really long time, not instantly anymore. those accounts are in "monitoring" status, tagged as people with multiple accounts, to be dealt with. :o;)

For me is because nothing to buy... :s22:

Probably have to start clearing my Qpoints very soon before they got eaten away. :(

Those Qpoints, Qstamp & MameQ before 16th FRb still valid for 2 year but who know they may change T & C anytime...:s22::s22:

Lol.... looks like we are all trying our best to make qoo10 the most superior performance online shopping merchant by giving them our invaluable feedback. Instead of hiding behind and spying on our convos, they should have came out, partner with DBS in some contest giving out maybe their giftcards:s13::s13::s13:

I think they got too many biz to bother about that.

If all your qpoints are from the before 16th and never get new ones then okay but we will inevitably get new ones along the way and there is no way to indicate to use the 6 months validity qpoints and keep the 2 years one.

Newer affected, u mean last in first out?

Gosh, everyone here seem to be going around in circles with the qoo10 points 6 months expiry thing. Think @denial86 reported previously that they had enquired and gotten feedback from the CSOs:

1) The points redemption is first in first out.
2) Technically points which you got before 16 Feb still has 2 years validity period
3) New points garnered after 16 Feb has only 6 months validity

In the general scope of things, if you have something like 20K points now and don't forsee yourself being able to finish up all the points within 6 months, you can just forget about partaking in those get points events etc since the new points you get now will most likely expire before you can utilise them.

In essence, qoo10 has cripped the points garnering ability of the avid qoo10 points hoaders who are saving to offset for big purchases.

I think most of people will still go to get 'new' Qpoints even they might not ffinish up their 'old' Qpoints. :)

I agreed. Most people will just hoot the points, better kiasu than sorry right? :s13::s13::s13:

But personally, i have about 40K points now (cos won some quite long ago, use until still left these although i think i spent a lot already lol). I'll probably give my points earning "hobby" a rest for a month or so till it drops to 20K then restart.

I encountered this scenario: I bought something before 16 Feb using the Q-points but the item was cancelled (due to out of stock) after 16 Feb, the refunded Q-points should be valid for 6 months (from refund date) or follow the original validity date?

My hunch is qoo10's system is not intelligent enough to differentiate between new points earned and new points credited in cos of refunds. if i were a betting man, should be 6 months from refund date. BUT i could be wrong, maybe send qoo10 CSO a message to enquire?
