I read this thread and started a trial on NetFlix thru MR DNS setting, it was easy to setup thanks to you guys earlier posts here.

I was trying to locate a TV series that I am following "Suits", I know it's popular but I cannot seem to find it on NetFlix or Hulu Plus (have not signed on yet) but would want to check out where to find this series before I sign up more channels. The other series I am keen is "Resurrection".

Once I find these two I shall not recontract SH, due for contract end in Nov... woohoo!! thanks you guys.

I connected via AppleTV3 - ethernet cable - Asus Router - MR Fibre Broadband

Suits is on Netflix, but seasons 1 and 2 only so far.

Hulu Plus has Resurrection, but if u want to save on subscription, go straight to abc.go.com and watch all episodes for free, assuming u have a proper DNS masking setup already.

Give the middle finger to StarHub cable and mioTV.

Am using Chromecast with Netflix on MyRepublic.

Anyone with a similar setup and able to stream the Super HD stuff?

Mine reaches 3Mbps on the test video and it just stays there. I would think Super HD is about 5Mbps.

suits, is available on amazon instant vid.

recently they list season 1-3 for free on their prime instant vid library. since im a Prime member i watched it in HD legally for free. S4E1 & 2 is available for $2. as usually, US networks must use VPN.

Thanks for info.. this service requires that I setup a new iTunes US Account, I currently am setup with a SG Account, too troublesome to have separate Account. For now, I may stick with just NetFlix and Hulu Plus. But will see how I can get all these TV channels consolidated, maybe I will need that US iTunes Account and put all my TV subscriptions into that US iTunes Account, not sure what I will do yet, but still exploring my options.

Thanks for the info.

Hi all,

Posting this for my wife. She has signed up for the Tunnelbear VPN service but now is not sure what to do. She wants to watch Netflix on her iPads.

What are her options now?

Thanks!

I am with ViewQwest and watch netflix on Samsung Blu-ray with Super HD with surround sound. No buggering or stuttering. Smooth stream consistently.

quick question, if anyone can help.

I've set up Netflix on my ps3, using unblock-us but noticed that everytime I open up netflix, I'll need to go into unblock-us to update my IP address.

is there a less laychey way to this? my parents have extreme difficulties when I'm not around.

Do you use the DNS on other wifi location as well? because if you do, then that's the issue.

Most DNS providers allow u to use on multiple locations however you need to update IP everytime you switch locations.

if not, your ISP might be changing your IP more frequent than usual but that's something very rare IMO.

You can try setting up the DNS on your router instead of the PS3 and see if it's better but note that the DNS will apply for all the devices in your network, not just the PS3.

Guys, could I ask how you're paying for Netflix? I'm not having much success with a local credit card, paypal, nor US debit card.

I think the easiest way to pay for Netflix is to subscribe via Apple TV and then just buy some US iTunes vouchers. This is the only way to get Netflix without having to pay them directly.

I know u need a *US* paypal account if you're using paypal, so that's not gonna work.

I had no issues using my Singapore Citibank CC to sign up for Netflix account, just need to tweak the Billing address to a US address instead and works like a charm.

just google for any to use, I usually use 1 Infinite Loop, CA 95014 :D

No trouble with my credit card too. I forgot which one I use, but most likely it's Citibank too. :) I think this is the easiest and most direct way.

Unfortunately, I've some feedback that one of them (I believe it's My Republic) won't work on all devices, such as WD TV Live for example. Apparently they have a very limited list of "supported devices".

Like I said, just get an Apple TV and buy some US iTunes topup cards. You can then subscribe to Netflix via Apple TV, and the monthly fee will simply be deducted from your US iTunes account.
