generics won't. but that tie pilot is exclusive to 75095 with special printing and extra arm printing.

at this rate of differential printings for almost every set, there are now more versions of black tie pilots than white stormtrooper variants now.

but still it is not that "exclusive".. unless u are talking about a chrome or even "gold-plated" tie fighter pilot.. which might cost at least $50 - $100 in the secondary market.. I think u can easily get this new variant for less than $10-$20 on BL..

another example is the 1st edition of UCS MF which has the special 1st edition of the COA.. now that's worth much more than the later versions..

u will not be able to display boba fett, han solo (carbonite), bespin guard and stormtrooper with the UCS slave 1 plaque, so this is not really a new trend..

the last SW UCS that has a minifig and can be displayed with the plaque separately was r2d2..

At least, the tumbler and helicarrier and now the TIE are. I think creating space for minifigs near the plaque is not difficult. In this way, they can produce exclusive minifigs even together with non minifig scaled model., to attract both model collectors and model with minifig collectors.

For 1st ed UCS MF I felt they should have included something more unique other than the cert, badge on the box and SW anni sticker. These don't mean anything to me.

if I can remembered correctly, the 1st edition is numbered right? so this edition is unique and worth much more because of that..

UCS MF is already so special, u don't need anymore unique things to make it even more special.. :D

because if the sets are huge, the minifigs will not be noticed easily I must say (unlike tumbler).. UCS is unique because of the size of the sets and "rarity"..

I understand what u mean.. to each his own I guess..

Some parcels gonna be delayed.
That big box can easily fit 2 tumblers.
There is also another P7 box further in the van.

Miss the good old days.

Slave 1, SG Retail Price $329.90

TIE Fighter, SG Retail Price $399.90

Both have the same US Retail Price $199.99

What's going on???
Is Singapore lego fans getting richer??

did I miss the post tat state the price of it in SGD?

i think is a lot of BS. Its probably a Disney thing that things are getting this kind of pricing. I totally skipping the tumbie just because the price in US and SG is so different.

The Tie Fighter UCS also some BS too.... it is more ex than the Slave 1.
300+ less pcs too. I will skip the Tie Fighter UCS... i think buy the x-Wing 10240 and Slave 1 better

My colleagues bought a few tumbie back but box too big so all now like that.
