Hatching of egg:
Take bus can hatch the egg. But not 100% of journey counted.
When the bus slows towards bus stops,
slowly move out of bus stop,
at traffic light and
if driver not speeding and moving at a constant speed, the journey will be calculated.
Managed to complete 1km worth of egg hatching over 20 min bus ride today. Just my usual journey. Nothing extra. Go home another 20 min journey. One 2km egg hatched. Easy.

30 mins about 70 evolves or less. It doesn't have to be pidgeys.
