Lol no lah. Dont think too much. It could be just an accident that the coupon system could have gave the massive discount wrongly.

It's a valid coupon. I know who's the rightful owner of that coupon. Lol cause I link here and there.

Tested the Titan at the PC show a few days ago. Just sharing my thoughts

My 2 cents:
i feel the Omega design is kinda too fitting for me even though i'm only 175 ht & around 65 kg.
However when i sat on the titan, i fell in love for it Even though i'm not big sized, but i really like the extra space for my legs & meaty butt for me to move around. For just a extra $100 bucks, you get extra size, a built in lumber support, additional cold foam, sounds too good.

Yeap. If one sits on the Omega and felt that it is just nice "hugging" your tighs, i think it is better to get the Titan for a much wider width.

Quick question: how to clean/care/maintain the Omega?

as you would for any PU. Wipe down when dusty or dirty. Else you don't really need to do anything. Its PU man...not leather. Don't worry too much :)

Edit: I'm really curious to see how long it takes for the Omega's PU to break down. PU typically lasts anywhere from 2-5 years before you start seeing peels/flaking and all that stuff. My cheapo ikea chair has started flaking/peeling after ~2 years of use.

unfortunately such is the way business works. Nothing is ever built to last. My mom's calf leather sofa has endured abuse for over 20 years now and is still going strong. Sure it looks like crap now and there are cracks here and there but all in all, 20 years! Of course, leather requires the odd maintenance and care (leather cleaner, oil etc etc).

The sofas/chairs I look at these days are all made of PU/fabric. Sure it looks nice. But none of them will last as long as my mom's sofa.

nice... i think i'm going to hoot the secretlab titan... just a quick question to existing owners... is it hard to assemble the chair by ourselves? or better to pay the $50 for a peace of mind..

Depending on how you wanna look at it?

Are you a handy person? lol If you are then DIY wont be tough.

But if you aren't but willing to learn then why not?

But if you are not handy and yet dont wanna risk it then good to pay with ease of mind. lol

Didnt manage to try out any of the chair before, just wana ask if they use any mesh-like material? I dont want those material as my current mesh material trap lots and lots of dust/dirt/potato chips/hair. Quite disgusted with the state of my chair as I usually put my feet up and cross it when I game, I dont put my feet down on the floor so all the stuff on my feet gets trap within the mesh.
