For me, i actually ranted back at the email they sent me on first post. Roughly 2 hrs after receiving the mail. And that was before they initiate their refund process so maybe i could still turn the situation around. Perhaps you need to be more proactive to fight for your rights next time.

UPDATES!!!!

Moment ago (1 min ago) i just received call from Lazada CS higher up notifying me they have SECURED MY HUAWEI PHONE REPLACEMENT SET! WOOHOO! :s12::s12::s12:

She say she is sorry for the way they handle my case and will get in touch with me on this via email and arrange for delivery soon.

Finally....

Congrats! Wish you every lasting happiness with your new spare phone

Anyway, this is what was promised from earlier email exchanges:

This email doesnt really confirm that you will get your phone, more than she will check inventory against your claim of having stocks based on online. Most ** thing she can do is to quickly change online stock to 0 and then report back to you that the item is OOS and cant proceed further.

At least what promised was they will check against their inventory for stock rather than to initiate refund immediately after they received back the wrong parcel.

Claiming no stock while selling on the other hand is plain LIE.

Heng i screenshot their listing immediately before they can chut any pattern.

Even in the event they really chut pattern to reduce stock to 0 or even remove product listing entirely, i will flame them deeper. This wouldn't just be lie, it will become a SCAM.

i talk to cso nicely, easy settle.

but if they lan lan say no choice, i also can't do anything.

just remember they are also doing their job :s22:

Now if i email cso, i kena him i just straight ask for another cso.

To get them treat you properly like a customer and keep you happy.

Your part is to ensure you get your items right and not to let them anyhow serve you. You are not there to keep their jobs lol.

I believe you need to go through NS first.

And FYI i work part time in the concierge line (while schooling) and i know this is a terrible way to treat customers.
