I was at Sata this morning doing the health check screening. price not exactly cheap, waiting fr 9am till 1230pm to do 3 checks and a doc consultation. only one machine and limited staff, end up long waiting time at every station. really old school hospital style.

For the same apples for apples comparison, how much is the cost for those same tests + consultation at Raffles Medical?

My gut feel is that SATA is amongst the cheapest you can get, while Raffles Medical is more atas....

The service level for Raffles Medical Group seems to be quite bad based on Facebook reviews.

Sorry for digging out an old thread.

Just want to check whether SATA CommHealth or Raffles Medical Group has a better health screening package?

Thanks.

Have heard both good and bad things about both. It really depends on the staff at the point of time.

I went to this MOSTEST comprehensive health checkup I ever had not long ago
it included the nurse drawing 4 pints (is this the unit?) of my blood. After that over the next few days I got so hungry so easily I was going crazy. No joke :o
It also included the pooped-on-to-a-dip-stick-and-bottled-it-test
So comprehensive till also included the NS-type-pull-down-underwear-and-cough check
And lot more. The entire "exercise" took 75 mins I aga-ed.
Does your health check include the above?
cos I tot health checks include only blood tests, take blood pressure and urine only :look:

It really depends on your age etc... for most of you guys who are between, say, 20 and 35 yrs old, I think the basic one should be enough. As you age & esp for middle age over 50 yrs old uncles like me, add ons like colonoscopy are needed.

Anyone did their health screening in JB? Heard its quite affordable at Regency hospital is actually co-owned by some Singaporean doctors.

Basic - RM$358
Deluxe - RM$538
Wellness - RM$838

And some other much expensive package.

Share your experience if you had done it here before

The Comparison of Health Screning Packages

Hi All,
Recently I joined a Investment bank which offer insurance package with a biyearly Complimentary Health Screening Checkup.
While a lot of tests are common a few key differences are always there in the packages.
I compared the 4 top four google search results on health screening in singapore
Comparing Changi General Hospital, Raffles , SATA, and HealthScreening.SG.
Of all HealthScreening.SG offer looks better compared to other packages but it wlll depend on users preference and medical history which will be better.
For the illustration purpose
I have used the following common packages
1. Raffles - Delux(S$450)/Delus Plus(S$580)
2. CGH - Core Package(S$365)
3. SATA - Premere Package(S$511.45)
4. HealthScreening.sg - Delux General((M)S$458/S$468(F))

There are few nuances for Male and Female Checkups, I have ignored them as they seem to be available similar as to the all the above four.

Let me know your comments if any other hospital to be included. I have kept the regular check cost to be around S$500. Others are too costly for regular health screening and thus needed only for special cases.
Regards,
Deb.

Appreciate the detailed chart. Can you have the chart on a clouddrive ie google drive so others can add-on the information? And maybe have another row to list date of information listed.

I did a full checkup at Fullerton Health just back in Dec'16 and the overall experience was terrible. I did not have a choice to go to another because Fullerton Health is designated by my company. It cost over $650 and I had to wait for OVER 3 MONTHS to receive the final health report on my email. They don't even send out a hard copy to you. I won't dwell on the details but I Do Not Recommend going to Fullerton Health for your check ups.

Medical cost is getting ridiculously expensive, even at govt hospitals. My father-in-law was diagnosed with liver cancer 5 years ago and passed away 9 months ago. Unfortunately he only had medisheld to rely on and that did not last for long. I know I'm going off point but just want to tell all to ensure if there is only one insurance to get, make it a medical/hospitalization insurance. I think its more important that one is medically covered while hospitalized and not burden others rather than have a payout insurance after death. Just IMO...

Health Screening with Health Outreach Programme

I did my annual health screening with Health Outreach Programme (HOP) with my company onsite!

Pretty good experience as usually I procrastinate doing one.Yesterday, they provided this service at the office and the basic health screening is complimentary. I paid a little bit more for the comprehensive screening which was still comparatively cheaper than the polyclinic which was quite a surprise.

Anyway, i think they offer the same corporate programme at the clinic every Saturday located at Health Outreach Clinic , Fareast Shopping center.

Might be good to check it out if you're looking for a good deal!

Reviving this thread.
Anyone went for this Life Scan Medical's basic health screening package before? The $88 basic health screening package seems like pretty good value it seems, but I haven't done a comparison across different clinics so I'm not sure. This is actually my first time doing a health screening of any kind (apart from the compulsory ones in the past like NS etc), so any recommendations would be really welcome!

Did an Executive Health Screening a few months ago at Parkway Shenton Paragon. Very efficient and professional, and a full breakfast was provided which you can take after the drawing of blood.

used to visit normal GP who uses Pathlab lab services.

then my friend told me that you can actually head down to Pathlab for health screening.

gave them a call and the prices was surprising affordable.

basic/classic/deluxe - 120/170/220

there is 20% discount on-going, so the price is 96/136/176.

they have medical professional to explain to you the result too.

https://www.pathlabs.com.sg/18ks-profile.php#

their deluxe package has a few cancer marker tests.
