thanks. is this cheaper than getting it from local stores? i have not been following local pricings lately.

Can I know how much cheaper
if hoot from Amazon UK?

No experience in ordering from Amazon ..

Depends on the set and how many sets in your order, plus the order must be below S$400 to avoid GST.

Generally savings can be around 25% to over 30%.

For example, I've just placed Ultra Agents 70164: Hurricane Heist , Star Wars 75105: Millennium Falcon & Minecraft The Nether Fortress as an order, the savings for this combo is around 30% off local retail price after inclusive of shipping.

Another order of MF and First Order Transport will give a saving of about 23% off local SRP.

Those who never tried ordering from amazon.. You can try and error to add items into yr cart and see what's the total payable amt (inclusive of shipping).. As of now, the conversion would be ard 2.17 x 1.04 (for credit card charges)..so make a comparison against local pricing and see the % savings (if any). Shopping online doesn't always mean you get cheaper price.

Like recce5 say, avoid hitting gst while efficiently maximizing the shipping charges. Dun juz order from the sake of buying or to top up so to Max the amount as its like throwing in $ for nothing..

My shipment of MF, x-wing and general grevious is about gbp29.67..for the shipping alone.. It's not cheap so always do yr maths and dun blindly copy others.. The forex and shipping charges dun make it that worth but taking into consideration that 20% off local rrp is hardly achievable nowadays.. For those sets not carried by metro then it might be worth to take a look at amazon for alternative options

Exactly. For eg, I tried adding MF and AROCS and the shipping came up to 44gbp. Which makes no sense getting the arocs from amz anymore (~ 10% off local price) and risk the box coming in bashed.

I bought my Mercs truck from Amazon DE last month, costs me $315, only just slightly cheaper than 20% off.

Sorry typo.. It's non online shopping purchases, so if never hit that criteria, all yr online transaction would be just 0.3% cash rebate..down from 0.5%
