hey guys am interested to get one, would the lg roboking scratch floors especially those parquet or timber wooden floors?
or would there be better robots that would be more gentle to the floor?

The Roboking will not scratch parquet or wooden floors as there are no hard parts per se on it..

A lot of the users here have wooden flooring and so far no complains about scratching...

Even in the Australian websites no complain about this problem...

Anyone who update the Korean voice to English voice notice that the volume is lower? Any way to make it louder?

I have the same feeling that the volume is softer now too...

But seriously it doesn't bother me... Only notice it when it's stuck...

To confirm confirm.. these are the steps?

english.rar (13.3 MB)
https://mega.co.nz/#!OBxX3Jja!GkwjYRdOHHuPdNjgu1Hpsmhgh199tNyMjuHmEIyEKxg

1. Extract this to a clean usb (format to fat32)
2. Turn off robot vac by switch
3. Insert USB
4. Turn on robot vac by switch
5. Press start button (lid can be open)
6. Wait. It should do luigi "here we go" and you'll see light on usb stick flash.
7. Wait for complete message.
8. Turn off robot vac by switch

The script will create a folder called SNDDATA.old on the USB stick and copy all the sound files off the robot into the folder, then copy the english sound files off the USB onto the robot vac.

confirmed working. also updated to 9785 from LG VR6270LVMB Support: Find Manuals & Warranty Info | LG Singapore

my unit just arrived 2 hrs ago and its already speaking english :s13:

that qoo10 599 price so amazing

LG Roboking u hv to compare with the higher end Roomba to get the same features. Eg.

HEPA Filters
Scheduling
Remote Control
Etc

If you don't need these features u can choose lower end Roomba models. Are u buying local with warranty or shipping from outside without warranty?

Without warranty this LG at 599 is quite unbeatable.

Lithium-Polymer battery (even high end Roomba don't hv)
Additional simple mop attachment for double action cleaning
Better build quality (my view)

Both Roomba and LG can do a decent job per run to vacuum. Just different. I have both btw so can compare.

Roomba u hv to take care of the battery properly. Must run it regularly else you will hv countless problems with battery damage and damage to the robot. Spent quite a bit to replace batteries and repair Roomba.

I see, thanks for sharing, roughly for a 4rm how long the robot takes to complete the job and does it consume alot of electricity? Now G-Market back to $600+ will wait for it to drop.
Looks good

My 5rm(121sqm) takes about 1.5hrs. it also depends, smtimes it just goes over the same spot 2 times hence take longer time.

Not sure of the time since I just run when I like, oh it's also much quieter compared to Roomba. I like to describe it as:

LG - I can watch TV in same room
Roomba - No way :)

Electricity wise, I can't see any significant change in SP bill :s13: For the Li-Pol battery alone it'll save you coz I believe most other robots' (Samsung, iRobot etc) are all Ni-MH which is quite a pain to maintain over say a lifetime of 2 yr. Replacement batteries cost a heck of a lot more than electricity consumption over 2 yrs.

if it does come back to $599 it's a good deal imo. Seems like offer back on again
